Do they count as GGGs (good guy with gun) when they're working as security?

Few people are going to argue that security personnel shouldn't be armed, and the dudes that stopped this shooting were voluntary security guards. Personally, I'd exempt any security personnel or off-duty cop as a GGG.

GGG are only good if they dont kill innocents in the process. Which, you know, happens a lot. If the cops can't get it straight how tf are civilians going to?

I wondered how he was able to participate in the service, see the danger, draw his weapon and put the dude down all in 6 seconds from first shot. But, apparently the dude looked sketchy and people including the retired LEO had their eye on him
