What do you mean by "bedding in?" The CP failure to play early in the season when Mount did play? That's rather tilting the outcome of your analysis, IMHO. It seems as if you are saying, "When they both play, they play about the same amount."Pardon me, please, if I misunderstand how you made your calculations.
I'm discounting the early part of the season because Pulisic arrived late and didn't find his feet with the club until after the first seven games. If the interest is in total minutes, there is no analysis, Mount is ahead by quite a bit. That said, Pulisic did get quite a few minutes in the first four matches. lamps was not impressed and sat him. I count from when Puli then earned his way back into good graces.
Such a shame is not available for today's match against an old BL rival from his days with BvB. Him going against Davies could be quite entertaining. Hopefully on the return leg.
Thank you. I'm wondering if we should have a game-day thread today, posting our thoughts about how Pulisic would have played v Bayern Munich had he been able to play.
Not directed at you specifically, but I don't get the comparisons with Mount. They are both attacking players, but in Frank's system, Mount plays more centrally in the attack and is closer to a 2-way mid. Pulisic plays more wide and is closer to a forward. They have different competition for minutes. I also don't get the concerns about playing time. From what we've seen so far, Frank has shown a preference to rotate players, and this is true at every position in the squad. I suspect this is from some combination of: play your players who are in form, give players periodic rest, keep everyone fighting to be at their peak, and deal with injuries. Much as I am not a fan of Lampard, he seems to have this exactly right. Pulisic when healthy will get his shot. Pulisic healthy and in form will get starts. It's the waiting that sucks.
All managerial decisions are the right decisions because managers know best and beside Frank was a really really awesome player who I am sure wants to win so whoever he plays gives the best chances to win and I say this while acknowledging wisely that others don't know what goes on inside his head it's just that the explanation I just gave of what goes on inside his head is the only logical one and so I think this about settles it as far as I and everyone else is concerned which is why the cp supporters are irrational and i am rational the end period fact
People are mostly just saying that Frank's actions have not shown he is purposely icing out Pulisic, as others claim he secretly wants to do. When he was performing and healthy, he played. A lot.
I can't believe Frank Lampard resorted to sawing Pulisic's leg off to ensure Mason Mount and CHO didn't have their minutes impacted.
Lampard has a perfect reputation No one ever saw him hurt CP Nobody knows what Lampard does Nobody knows but me. If you knew Lampard, like I know Lampard Oh! Oh! Oh! What a coach! There's nothing the matter With this fair gaffer Oh! Oh! Holy Moses, what a laugher! CP went training, Lamps didn't talk Back from rehabbing CP's the one who couldn't walk If you knew Lampard, like I know Lampard Oh! Oh! Oh! What a coach!
I just want an update. It's blowing my mind that we've had zero window into the situation. CP totally silent on social media too.
i know some people say that reasonable people can differ but that's not true because i can't really see the reasons that people differ from me so that means that instead of simply accepting differences i have to erect straw men to knock down and caricature opposing views and 'splain the error of their ways through what i like to call 'tough mockery,' which is like tough love except more cathartic so every time they say one of their unreasonable things about frank or fill in the uncertainty differently than i do i will meet that with tough mockery for their own good period fact the end
A guy explaining how he can never be wrong. Yep, the problem is CERTAINLY everyone else. Oy vey, my head now hurts.
I will say that the injury must have been a lot more significant than initially indicated. He's missed a fair amount of time the past two seasons.
I don't blame him at all. It's just usually a very good indicator that S*** isn't good when players go completely radio silent on social media.
