Hakimi's recent interviews do sound like he would be Keen to remain at Dortmund on a permanent basis, if it came down to that. Let's hope Zorc can pull this one off.

Isak would be a good option to have for rotation/competition with Haaland. At this point there aren't any other proper options in that position and having two bona fide no.9's in the squad is necessary imo. What happens if Haaland gets injured for a few weeks?

Yesterday i was shocked when i saw Kruse was in Fenerbache, wtf.. And he went there for free..
Kruse is the perfect joker from the bench, he is experienced and clinical in front of goal, he is German Paco i would say..
    Why we didnt bring him?

I really hope he will stay, i mean that would be a wise call.. I mean where is the hurry? Hes only 19, go to United? Sorry but thats a step back in the career, Chelsea isnt bettet that us, i think we have more quality in our squad.
Ok, I understand Premier league is tempting, but i would think twice about going to United or Chelsea.
Only Lpool is a step forward.
He needs to stay 1 more year, but that season FO has to go ALL IN, that means bring 2 good defenders, backup striker and a NEW TOP CLASS COACH! (Ten Haag or Poch) and we can win something for sure

Camavinga is our primary transfer target in summer, the 17 year old midfield from Rennes who is valued at 35M..
Media says that BvB are ready to give 50-60M (haha)...
That will not happen for sure cause Rennes doesnt even have that power to ask for that kinda cash (they sold Dembele for just 15M) everything above 30M is just too high..

Unlike Dembele, Camavinga extended his contract last summer which runs until the summer of 2022 so Rennes absolutely has the power to demand a lot more than for Dembele who had a year left on his deal. Especially if it comes to a bidding war.

30 m for a 17 year old? Not sure about that. We bought a big talent from Argentina one year ago, and he haven’t played yet. When you add Isak, Gomez and Morey to those talents who don’t get a chance, maybe it’s better to wait until we’ll get a new coach...

Juventus seek Haaland revenge on Dortmund in chase for Porto starlet
    2 days ago 2/23/20

Juventus want to beat Borussia Dortmund to the signing of 17-year-old Porto right-back Tomas Esteves, according to CalcioMercato.com.

Having seen BVB beat them to the signature of Erling Haaland, Juve are keen to swoop for the young Portuguese, who has a release clause set at just €10m currently.

1 question.. What is with the Haaland release clause of 60-75M (different amounts in media) that begins in 2021 or 2022 i dont remember?

I saw some article where Zorc refused to confirm that Haaland has a release clause in his contract..

That part of the contract really confuses me, is it true or isnt? If is, cant we change that part with a new contract, i mean will Raiola agree or will he force a move like he did with Miki?
Because 75M for that kind of player in todays world is a freaking bargain...

If that is the release clause he will be gone in a flash. He is already worth more then that and if his current form carries into next season and his all round game continues to improve he would be worth double that in the current market. Raiola will of course try to force a move, it's how he makes big money.

Guys, what do you think about Militao case in Madrid?
That transfer is very strange, 50M for someone who is warming bench every single game and barely plays at all.

I would chase him in summer..

As i read, i think that release clause ccan be trigger on summer 2021, not this year.. So this year BvB can ask whatever they want, but have a player only half a season just to flip him. Sorry, but thats not football anymore

What I read was that the clause will only be valid starting summer 2022, so the Spanish report got it backward. There's enough time to renegotiate a bigger contract with Haaland and Raiola and make sure BVB cashes in in excess of 100m.

Some media say 2021 and other 2022, some say its 60M and others say its 75M.
Zorc in other hand refuses to admit there is a release clause, its a real mystery whats really goin on with his contract...

Even if some of the details are not 100% clear (I thought the clause could only be triggered in 2021 as well), I think it's safe to assume Haaland has one, he has a very difficult advisor who makes much money shipping players around, and it will be hard to keep him beyond the next season.

As for the question why the club would agree to such a clause, we all know they don't like release clauses. But we shouldn't forget that negotiations aren't a one way street. Haaland had many options. I'm pretty sure Zorc didn't start the negotiations by offering his idea to include a release clause. That is usually something that the player side wants. In particular, they want a release clause at a rather reasonable level that isn't above an expected market value at the time it's triggered.

Why would Zorc answer any questions about the release clause? At this point it seems almost certain that it exists but it does not serve BVB to publicize it. Of course, Raiola could talk about it but that would be equivalent to a transfer demand.

Over the next year the club should aim to renegotiate a big increase in the termination clause (well above 100m or do away with it altogether) in exchange for improved financial terms for Haaland's side.

Haland, his agent, and probably his father (since i think he was a footballer) have figured a way to use Erling's talent to give them more freedom to choose his destination. (It also happens that this makes the agent richer, so win-win.)

I think Zorc and co were well aware of that, and their bet is for him to like playing for BVB and stay. It's in their hands to make the club more attractive for him to stay by setting it up for success. So we'll see if they are going that way in the summer.

Signing Hakimi permanently, getting a better CB then Akanji and another proper option at 9 would be a good start to showing the likes of Haaland that the club mean business.

Bringing in Ten Hag to replace Favre (unless LF wins the league) would be the biggest statement of intent though.

Well Bayern losing Lewandowski helps us quite a bit. But the way Bayern are playing, someone else will score their goals anyway. We need a couple players to go down to even sniff a chance at this.

I dont understand why release clauses arent public. How does a club that inquires on a player not know what his release clause is? I mean in FIFA 20 all the release clauses are public so it must be true if its in a video game....

Lewy is 50% of Bayern, what Messi is to Barca, that is Lewy for Bayern.
They will have serious problem replacing him, because i dont see that quality player at the moment thry can bring, even Werner isnt near that quality.
In the past 10 years Lewy was every season a top 5 striker in the world

Werner? How is he an option to replace Lewa, the transfer window is shut?

I expect some sort of a combination of Gnabry/Perisic/Coutinho/Goretzka in attack for the next couple of weeks, which will probably still be good enough to score goals against most teams.

No, i mean even if they bring Werner in the next couple of transfer markets, he cant replace Lewy at that level
