At some point isn't it on the player to get better? It's easy to blame the coaches.

Sure, he might not have wanted to improve (there aren't reports of him being a lazy player or anything though), but independently of that, there won't be any significant improvement if the environment doesn't allow that, and there is ample evidence that Tuca's Tigres are one of the worst environments for that in Liga Mx: take the fact that Tuca's average starting 11 consisgs of mostly veterans, it has only Jesús Dueñas as a canterano and his declarations against the rule 20/11 (and if you pay attention, anytime he plays a young player to go with the ruling, that player is the first to be subbed out). And if you see all the young Mexicans he has signed like Eduardo Tercero or Francisco Venegas, most of them ride the bench or at loaned out to Ascenso teams. In Tuca's case it isn't a coincidence, it's a pattern.

I see your point but ultimately, Damm's physique hasn't changed much, nor has his finishing or his crossing passes improved.

As for providing the right environment, Tuca has regularly fielded some of the best teams in liga MX. His teams have been loaded with national and international team players. If practicing against players of that caliber on the daily, and being able to see how such players train, eat, workout isn't enough for Damm to get better, it's most likely a problem with him.

I miss the days when our players would go to european teams and not MLS or the middle east.

Greedy ass ligamx over price these mediocer players and history has showed theyre not worth money and the foreigner spot.

Gotta feel ligamx have made a deal with mls for them to get first dibs and are the ones willing to pay these ridiculous prices for average "stars"

Seems like these kids are going to want to get paid big and play in mls comfortably then take big pay cut and work their ass off in smaller leagues around thr world. Why would they? Guaranteed big money up north where youre going to be treated like a star or try to earn that in some cold smaller league earning your way and gaining quality for a 3rd of pay.

This is what I think ligamx and mls have made a deal in. Mexico will suffer and its a win win for mls and USMNT

It's a marriage made in Heaven, corrupt Liga MX and Pay to Play MLS. The sport side of it is 2nd or maybe even distant 3rd on the priority. No cambies numca futbol Mexicano , lol.

Is benzema on his way out? If so, it makes sense.

Florentino would be a dumbass not to open up the wallet. It would be a wise investment.

Benzene is 32 and they’ll need a replacement. The Jovic situation is why I would t be open to Jimenez even thinking about going there. Although I’m sure this rumor isn’t even real.

I don't think they're super deep there. They have Alex Iwobi, Bernard and Theo Walcott as wingers, if I'm not wrong.
