There was no better player than him upfront in French NT. He was the main striker and the best scorer ever for the French squad. If Zidane played with him like he could he would have scored even way more but he didn't want.

If you want him to score use his strengths. It almost seems like Zidane want him to play out of his role and portrayed him bad in comparison with Benz. Maybe he was not his choice in the first place.

Just give him freaking ball more. Youngstars if you can name his missed opportunites, like Morata or Lukaku does... He would be perfect fit for 95% od clubs, but Zidane has to change something and to get more balls to strikers not named Benzema. Hes a scorer fgs, keep feeding him like we did with Ronaldo. He kind of is, but his best moments in Frankfurt were when he was playing with another forward. I mean, he is young and nothing is definitive and he can always adapt to new playing styles.

He does one thing well when he's playing: keep both CB's busy and create space for the other two attackers, but unfortunately they are inconsistent goal scorers.
