Okay so now 19 year old VJ is "miles ahead of Hazard". Uhm yeah sure you are not exaggerating at all:rolleyes:

At this point Vin is dr. MD for Hazard. He completely shredds Hazard in terms of 1v1 play and runs at left flank, and producing tons of danger. I also rather play Lucas than Hazard. That is how bad Hazard is at this point.

He is. We were sold a dud.

I feel confident with Vinicius taking on defenders than Hazard stat packing by passing the ball backwards.

Taking on defenders ...only to make a shit final pass or get dispossessed in the end.
Look if VJ was really that good he'd be stacking number of goals like Haaland.

Lets all be fair here, we played pretty good football first half. A normal striker would have made two and we def deserved 1 PK. Then we had 0-3. They could have had their goal and no one ever really thought Levante had a chance.

All this team is missing is a reliable striker. The rest of the team aint that bad. They make mistakes, but they make mistakes everywhere. Its easier playing when you are 2 or 3 upfront, instead of 12 shots on goal, but no score in sight. Its a mental game too.

Only thing is, I dont ever wanna see LV in the squad again, but Zidane is one hardheaded son of a gun.

You said VJ is miles ahead of Hazard in shooting. So does he have the numbers to back up those claims?

    Eh?

You went on to talk about Haaland?

I said VJ is miles ahead of Hazard. You said VJ can’t shoot, I said neither can Hazard based on what we’ve seen.

Facts are, VJ has performed like the 100ME signing on the left to what Hazard has shown.

We didn’t get Hazard for his goal but his directness and taking on players, seen nothing of the sort.

So what did Benzema do with the ball that was directly played into his path by Isco pretty early in the game? What did Casemiro do with widely gaping goal and gk out of position?
It's not like chances were not being created. Highly doubt VJ in place of Eden would have changed the course of this game.

It would, literally anyone would have performed better at LW, but that was because Hazard played at 30%. He should never be at the field in the first place.

Man ZZ had been protecting him for several games just to spare him for City and Barca. This was absolutely the game he had to start one way or another to shake off the dust

By seeing him perform yesterday he wasnt ready on time for City and Barca, so maybe its better this way. Time for Vinicius too step up and prove his worth, he was a very good sub yesterday, his pace is insane.

That’s the problem with the coach. He seems to think he has to play these players.

I’m just glad Hazard forced his hand now and won’t be anywhere the team in the most crucial, do it die part of the season.

Honestly, at this stage neither can Hazard. Our main issue has been end product so lets see how they've managed in La Liga + CL:

    Hazard (1124 Mins): 1 Goal, 2 Assists.
    Vini (839 Mins): 2 Goals, 1 Assist.

Vini's passing was an issue early in the season but the past couple of games he's been gifting Benz sitters which he's fluffed. I'm more than comfortable giving Vini Hazard's minutes. It's Benz's form which worries me going into the next couple of games.

If Jovic is ready for City i say feck it and start him as a striker ,Vinicus on the left and Benzema as a N10/second striker/on the right, nothing to lose

So Jovic has been as efficient in 300 minutes than Hazard has been in 1000 minutes and Vinicius in 900.
But the guy will warm the bench no matter what.
And when he will have a game without rythm the haters will jump on the opportunity to tell us he is proving that Zidane was right :D:D:D

Hopefully that ******** picks up another injury so he’s nowhere near the team.

He doesn’t care. Not interested. Why even feature him again for the remainder of the season

If we had a goal scoring forward there would be no need for Kroos and Modric and Casemiro and Sergio to push forward to try and score.

We were solid and we made good chances. But we couldn’t score (again), took more risks and got sloppy at the back (again). That’s the pattern of this season. Until someone figures out how to score I don’t see us winning anything.

Agreed, as I posted before, the Madrid I knew and loved was one that always scored it was built on goals , if you score 4 we’ll score 5, never on clean sheets being the key, it’s nice but to win games we need goals,

Varane has had some brain farts but IMO the thing that is killing this team is forwards that cannot score, one nil down away or at home used to be nothing to fear, we would always get goals, come back, now we fear going down by one , we as fans always do, why?, because we know the team at this time often does not have the capacity to get back into games after losing a goal,

Madrid really shouldn’t be this, and the Madrid I know from the past was not, but I guess times change, solid defence is great and I praise it, who wouldn’t , it’s a big positive, but yeah , goals, we should never feel like we are out of a game because we are one goal behind , but nowadays I feel that nearly always, IMO our biggest problems lie in attack not defense

I’ve read posters complain about defense being weak, and making mistakes, me included, but I’ve never read any poster who thought that goals were not important, or didn’t care about goals, that just defies the logic of the game

This , this part, I am surprised more people are not querying this, I literally could not believe what he did there, the save was not that difficult the ball was at a good height the shot was from a distance and he literally just ducked under it, just made no attempt to stop it, I don’t understand that

I dont care how we win the CL, if Bale is fit he gotta play, he is the only one who can make the difference, its sad, but true.

Form? It's his brain that is the problem.

You don't need to be in good form to know to step up and play the offside trap like the rest of you damn defensive backline.
