We all are blaming and cussing him but think from his perspective too. It wasn't his fault he got valued for a 100mil. Played safe from both ends, didn't disappoint Chelsea fans and left on a high note winning the EL. It's true he should have been fitter when he became a Madrid player but we need to understand that maybe it was already late by the time we decided to get him and no matter what we were always gonna get a player on a decline who offered his best at Chelsea. Then the injuries. Must be distressing for him too. Maybe karma for laughing at Barça for season long Dembele injury. [emoji24][emoji24] Zidane overprotecting him for City and Barcelona seems like a dumb decision in hindsight. No El Clasico, no KO UCL games, no Copa del Rey games, no Spanish Super Cup games. Season is over. Get well soon.
As usual, I think some of you are going overboard but he has been quite disappointing in terms of impact for sure. It’s a real shame he got hurt against PSG just when he was finding form and confidence. Today he was back to his early season form playing passively and not direct enough at all. That big chance looked comically bad and really showed his mentality isn’t right. Dude is clearly in better shape physically, and I’m not even sure how he got injured. Missing the CL and Classico is a huge blow and almost guarantees this season goes down as a large failure for him unless some late season magic in either comp covers this up. I like the player, I think talk of selling is silly but he just hasn’t produced. I don’t blame injuries on players but this is all adding up to negative cloud that will stay over him until he has some great performances. We need more from him, a lot more. Hopefully he has a bigger impact once he is back.
I'm afraid that the worst case scenario happened. His return in the team ruined the chemistry that has been builiding in his absence. 1 draw and 1 defeat since his his return and we're behind Barca again, plus he is injured again. Without a doubt he is one of the biggest disappointment of the season and one of the biggest flops in our history.

easily the worst transfer in history. We should trust Vinicius and try to develope him for the left wing and hope that we can sign Sancho or Mbappe for the right . Hazard is done
He's done for me. He disappointed me prolly more than anyone else. Was a huge fan, but this hits hard. He's total shit and doesn't give a fck. Than get your fat ass back to chelski. Some players just cant stand the pressure and the expectations at a club like Real and he is one of them. I still cant understand how a professional footballer transfers to one of the biggest clubs in the world (in his eyes the biggest) and comes in training overweight. Shouldn't you be excited to show the fans what you can do?? Does he even care? You earn millions?? Unbelievable.
Lets be real,Hazard was nowhere near one of the clubs main targerts over the past 4/5 years, We signed him because we fecked up with Mbappe,we lost the battle for Neymar with Barcelona,Bale failed to live to the hype of being the new CR7 and CR7 himself left......we were left without a big name and Hazard (europa league level player) was the biggest name left and available after all of out transfer failures ....... this is a logical conlusion to not getting Mbappe and trusting Bale after 2017 and trusting him to replace Ronaldo FACEPALM
Im a big fan of him but for now this transfer huge fail.. didnt excpected he will be such an injury prone this season.
Disagree that he's at best a EL player, but I do believe his best days were over with Chelsea a couple of years ago.
The only thing I fault with Hazard is coming back so out of shape. That would set the stage for a difficult season for anyone. The Meunier foul was horrible against PSG and could happen to anyone...that simply unlucky at a time he was trying to find his feet. I am as disappointed as anyone with this new injury, but let's not go overboard....you guys think Hazard wanted things to play out this way? This was a potential Ballon d'Or type season opportunity for him: - Being at Madrid on the biggest stage + Euros coming up. Sometimes you things just go south..... We need him to get healthy and give us his absolute whole when he comes back.
I think soccer has changed. Soccer players use to develop slower and be great from 27 to 33. Now so many peak so young that at 28 and 29, we don't want to sign them because we believe that they are old and they struggle to maintain that great form for so long . Modric is what used to be normal. Now at 19 we think Vinicius is a scrub and at 29 we think Hazard is done.
This is why I fault him for coming back so out of shape. I agree...that's fully on him. We saw how Cristiano was when he got his dream move to Madrid. Came READY!!
Absolute waste of money. The club should have just given the 100ME out to people walking past the stadium who would have made better use of it. The writing was in the wall when he turned up fat to his “dream” club. Seems like he needs a coach who is more disciplined for him to stay in check. Sell in the summer. Don’t want him taking anymore minutes from the youngsters.
