It was 337 before Celta. By the next game it'll be 347~. Idolo looking to break some records.

Courtois came closer to scoring in the last year than he did.

At this point I’d rather play Vazquez against City, no joke. But Bale isn’t called up against Levante so he will start against City I think.

Barcelona is going to spank Eibar. This away win is going to be crucial. I hope we can do it. Glad Bale is out.

He was really a different player back then.

I find it bizarre that as a former athlete you refuse to accept the lasting effect of constant injury (mental and physical).

Bale is both physically not half as quick as he was back then but also visibly holds back from entering a difficult challenge with an aggressive player (mental).

Back then he was a weapon. But almost nothing is left from that player and he probably hasn't adapted to the physical changes at all.

I think nowadays he holds back from any challenge with any player really, always looks half hearted IMO, this should more than disqualify him from starting most games , especially big important ones,

if you can’t give your all you really shouldn’t be on the pitch, we shouldn’t have players out there playing their heart out giving their all and one guy half assing it, if I was out there with him I would not be happy with that scenario

I agree, and it's very noticeable, maybe Zidane is trying to break some mental barrier by giving him playing time but the hesitation is quite obvious.

It is not that I refuse to accept it, it is that he and his agent have.

He has checked out mentally and that is why his body and performance went down drastically.

As a former player I can tell you it's mostly mental. It's about will power and all Bale has shown is he lacks it when things get tough. Which is so ironic because when he gets mad he can turn into a gear that makes him one of the world's best.

So I can't subscribe to the fact Bale's body and mind gave way well before 30. His desire gave way. He became complacent. The drive to be the best left and with that so did the player Gareth Bale.

What we have in front of us is a guy who got comfortable, doesn't really care too much and hasn't for some time. He wants to milk the club and coast into retirement.

As a fan that is unacceptable.

I've never seen a player openly admit that though.Raul was less than half the player and was constantly saying he's better than he's ever been.

How dare you. There was never a question of commitment or desire on the part of Raul. He may have slowed down and became less effective in the end (and I'll throw in wanted to be paid his full contract because @4x4s will go there) but we he always gave 100% which was painful to watch when it was no longer good enough.

This is not a Bale vs Raul discussion. Unless a player is in severe pain, he'll always believe he's A-OK.

He doesn't have to. I'm not saying he should put his head in a guillotine.

However demanding starts and having your agent abuse the club, manager and fan unless you play lionshare is bullshit and you know it.

He wants to be semi-retired? Okay. Don't screw over the club and be a selfish prick who wants to have his cake and eat it too.

Then we lost 7-3 to Atlético and we somehow thought he'd be our saving angel?

He is the face of the failed post CR7 project.

It is unbelieveble how this guy still plays for RM ,it is unbelieveble how a guy who is amateur /5 division level ,completely disinterest in the sport, always cost us when on the pitch, cant drible, cant pass ,a year without scoring at the Bernabeu ...how is he still playing for this club??????????????

Bale is the face of everything that is wrong with the club,Zidane,Perez etc ,a club, coach and president who have completely lost the plot

Welsh Dragon is a corpse. I rather play Nacho as a winger than him.

The obsession with getting a transfer fee for this dead horse is astonishing. Flo signs him to a ridiculous deal, finally finds someone to cover his ridiculous wages, and then tries to sneak in a transfer fee? Pathetic.

Florentino's businesses generate what you earn in a year together in less than a month, if you two guys are wealthy and well off.

Absolutely comical to see people tell him how to make business decisions.

LOL what does my what I make have ANYTHING to do with Flo making a bad deal? It would have been better for you to plain out say you disagree instead of making any sort of assumption about the money of people you do not know.
