Hasebe made his 300th Bundesliga appearance last week. :) Only 19 foreign players have done so.

Kamada is out for a few weeks with an injury he suffered during the winter training camp, and Hasebe is currently on the outside looking in after Hütter switched to 4 in the back.

But Hasebe was subbed in the 30th minute for Abraham.

As for Kamada, he hardly done anything in the league to justify giving him a starting spot in the team. The change of the formation certainly does not help him either (and it does not help Hasebe too).

Because of injury yes. Almost every JPA is benched now.

Both on bench again today. But so far the match shows what they can offer the current formation lacks: the defensive stability is only worth something as long as they aren't trailing. Once that wall has fallen their lack of passing accuracy and pressure onto ball holders is exposed. Hasebe as a secure passing option from the back and Kamada as a pressure resistant target in the crowded offense are both sorely missing. The current formation hasn't been all bad (4-1-0 in the previous 5 matches this year) but I hope Hütter finds a way to twitch between both formations whenever it makes sense.

Hasebe and Kamada start against Salzburg in the home leg. Kamada scores after 12 mins.

A brilliant run and another goal for Kamada on the counterattack just before halftime.

    Hat-trick by Kamada.

if I’m not wrong he scored a goal each by his right foot, left foot, and head.

He's also joint top-scorer and has the most G+A this season.

    In Europa League, yes.
    Not in the German Bundesliga.

I’m starting to believe that playing in Germany does not suit him and he needs to play somewhere else in Europe.

To bad he does not get any playing time in BL.

But a hattrick is always nice.

Hütter clearly rested Hasebe and Kamada for the important match today. :D

Eintracht looks to have two full strength formations now, one without (which did well since the winter break until the bloodless loss last Friday) and one with both starting (today). Today went really well (Salzburg wasn't that bad in first half either) with both being really instrumental for the win so I expect them to feature more often again from now on.

Kamada's play has been well-regarded among Bundesliga observers, and he's been unlucky to be scoreless in the league due to finishing, VAR, etc. He's been dropped recently as Hütter has shuffled formations between 3 and 4 in the back to try to alleviate Eintracht's disappointing form, but it looks likely that Kamada will play an important role in the future.

As I said before, Kamada is a bit slow to play for most Bundesliga teams that play fast-paced football with lots of movements. Italy or Spain is the best place for him.

Having said that, it's not like he has played below average in the Bundesliga. naopon is correct. He earned positive reviews from the local media after the first half of the season and now Frankfurt are trying to extend his contract. 7 goals and 6 assists in all competitions. Not bad.

On a side note, he became the second Japanese player to score a hat-trick in the Europa League. The first was Minamino.

It was a mix of both, bad Lück Like Post/crossbar or incredible Goalkeeper saves and some wasted chances.

Rarely saw something Like this before. Normales he has 5-8 goals now in the league too.

But he is pure class. He is not to slow, he is to fast. He needs fast paced and combination playing Teams like Gladbach or Dortmund dir example.

Frankfurt is a mix of fast combination Football and some aggressiv slow worker Football. And thats the Point. Some Games from Frankfurt perfectly suit Kamada and some Others from tactique not but Overall he is playing a verY verY good season Till now.
