So Jair Marrufo was officiating last night the most hated ref El Salvador NT has ever encountered. Also from what I’ve seen the most hated ref in MLS as well, dude is such garbage I’m astonished no one has whooped his ass. As for Tigres we’ve seen this song and dance before with Salvadoran clubs so I’m more pessimistic about it.
When I went to the Colombia/Peru friendly last year, as soon as the announcer informed everyone that Jair Marrufo was the head ref, I said to myself, "This is gonna be a trip." And he didn't disappoint both sides complained about the refereeing after one of the most physical "friendlies" I've ever seen.
