Time for more disproportionate Canadian MLS team CCL success!

 

We've always taken this competition very seriously, same for the fans.

Thierry Henry's preparation was entirely dedicated to this competition. This could lead to Montreal being atrocious in MLS

 

Impact are going to have a tough time hanging on due to those 2 early subs including a CB. They have the wind at their back in 2nd half so hopefully that helps with clearances as Saprissa cranks up the pressure.

 

They seem unwilling to clear, and when they do, they can't hold the ball up at all. This second half feels like it's been going for 20 minutes already, rather than 8.

 

That would have been a sweet 3rd.

 

Urruti would score a golazo only for it not to count.

 

Saprissa is really missing out on a strategic advantage by not having Roy Miller take free kicks. Henry would have such vivid flashbacks to his frustration with Miller on the Red Bulls that he wouldn't be able to manage the rest of the game.

 

Craziness but somehow Impact keep the ball out of the net. Hanging in!

I'm not sure that Diop could have made himself any smaller on that one. Like Jakovic last night, it is staggering that he is starting for an MLS team in CCL in 2020. He's terrible.
