A lot of the stuff posted here about England, the British, and things related to them are borderline hateful and surpass "banter status". Highlighting something negative and saying "well but that's typical in Spain" is a dumbass comment.
Well, it IS typical in Spain. I'm Brazilian and quite often I read about how Brazilian players are lazy or not so focused on work as other players. And well, it is what it is lol. We tend to be more relaxed. African players are usually crazy fast and very few of them are known for being extremely technical. It's common knowledge. You could've called him a sore loser. But that was far from what xenophobia really means. Now excuse my lol xenophobia but I think the English teams are not going through in the CL. Sorry for my xenophobia but I didn't know Atalanta was such an offensive side. Italians tend to be very closed and tactical sides. Hope I'm not hurting anyone. Valencia missed a lot of chances. But what a great game it was!
Typical nonsense from you as well. Enjoy your view of the world through a very narrow lense. Football has underwent a transformation. Atleti are coached by a guy from Argentina that earned a lot of his stripes as a coach in Italy. Nothing about cholo screams "yep, typically Spanish" but leave it to a guy from the Netherlands and a bigsoccer forum User from Brazil to be the judge of that.
Pep Guardiola has fired back at Josep Maria Bartomeu after the Barcelona president praised the sanctions levied against Manchester City by UEFA. "If Barcelona is happy because we are suspended, I would tell the president that we will appeal. We believe we are right, we are going to appeal, but my advice to Barcelona is not to speak too loudly because sometimes everyone is involved in these situations."
This whole thing is nonsense. It shouldn't be allowed across the board. Really dumb rule. Leganes had no say in this, it was a release clause. If this rule was to stand, the release clause shouldn't come into play. If a team wants to sell their player and both sides agree on a price, then fine, they do it understanding that they can't replace the player.
Pep is digging himself into a hole by basically saying he has info on Man City's "sponsorship" and the way the business is ran.
Release clauses can be activated at any time. It’s just in this case he could move outside the window. Could fix this by only allowing loan signings. Or getting rid of the rule because it is stupid.
I do understand it, it's just dumb here when the club has 0 say in this whole matter and can't replace the player. I would scrap it all together.
Really stupid of Bartomeu to comment about it and put hit neck out considering Pep-Barca relationship and the current state of Barcelona. But I don't mind, love to see it happen. Clowns.
You're still drunk? Simeone's team scored a goal. It was the English club's who apparently couldn't achieve such lofty heights. I mean damn everyone scored at least one goal. Even Valencia. Even at home with your beloved Mourinho managing.. that poor engerland side couldn't even put together one. The way Mourinho had them bunkering the first 80 mins you would have thought it were liverpool playing a CL final. Sheesh.
Dear Santa I know it's only February But if you get all 4 of the SHITPL teams eliminated this round, i promise i will be good for the rest of the year. I swear.
Everyone anticipated RB Leipzig would stroll inot England and get a victory while holding Tottenham scoreless? Ahaha Is this like how everyone predicted unbeatable liverpool would cruise to victory over lowly atleti?
