Liverpool are arguably one of the best 4 teams in the game right now, but their whining about Atleti's way of playing instead of reflecting on their own shortcomings is a positive sign for the opposition.
Halaand’s release clause is affordable. Didn’t Bayern pay 80m for a Lucas Hernandez? If they want the player enough they’ll make a bid.
Benzema is coming to an end, Hazard is not cutting it and we need an offensive midfielder. They all slot in perfectly for me.
I also used to despise RM near Jose's end of managerial career as he had made a similar identify for the club. I think even you'd agree
The bold was the main reason I supported Guardiola. Between 2004 and 2007 Benitez and Mourinho did their best to murder football with the worst anti-football you can ever see Both will play 180mins of football and hardly get a shot on target. Around that time, anyone trying to play attacking football was seen as a fool cos attack never wins I think I have seen Mourinho use Huth as a striker
Martin Braithwaite to Barcelona, here we go! The release clause will be paid to Leganés for €18m. 🔴🔵 #Barça #FCB #transfers— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) February 19, 2020
Since the release clause was paid and it wasn't a negotiation, Leganes should be allowed to make a signing too.
klopp actually praised their defense . But he also said Atletico played like they’d be happy with a 0 x 0 draw. It’s a slight , but it’s true . What he was whinny about was Atletico players time wasting .
He also made stupid comments about Simeone like, come on man. Anybody but Klopp. He's extra all the time but it's Simeone doing it that's got you bothered? Klopp is one hell of a sore loser. He refused to give an interview to a journalist from a local radio station once post match because "whenever they send you here we lose, not going to talk to you". The guy is truly out there sometimes so yeah, I like him pointing out other people's flaws because he's full of them himself
A 28 year old striker that Leganes bought for 5 mil. Euro this summer, and has 6 league goals in circa 2000 minutes, sold for 18 million euro. Deal of the century of Leganes. Mama mia
Yet you wanted him back..... ? You don't like how atleti played but you wanted Madrid to hire a guy who would make playing like that the club's identity?
He didn't play that style with Madrid for his entire tenure with the club. Only selected few matches. Our counterattacks under him were spectacular.
Then hes nothing but a little girl, he wont be managing any big club soon as he has no respect for others at all... let him rot in the shithole of Liverpool
Uh yes he did. We got knocked out of a CL semi-finals because he did the same thing; we just conceded. Also, atleti had some spectacular counters yesterday. If not for Morata being a closet scouse, atleti could have scored two more.
Meh ... His record will dictate if he goes to a big club . Never stopped Mourinho from landing big jobs ... and his whining was 5x worse than any in the business .
Well tbh, he's running away with PL title and Liverpool can overtake the likes of Utd financially if latter continues to struggle for another 5 years. If City ban is upheld, Liverpool could attract the best players over City.
I think the run was very good, especially pulling the keeper to one side so he could essentially pass into the goal but the finish was just off.
I felt the smart thing would be pass. Anyways, I get that a from Sancho. He wants ti be the hero. If he can take that next step (especially in finishing) he will be one of the world beaters. If not he will be at best a selfish good player like Robben at worst irritant that gets forgotten like Ben Afra.
so really you shouldn't be allowed to activate a release clause in this case and if Leganes still wanted to negotiate, good for them
We played some beautiful counter attacking soccer in JM but he also was too conservative and cost us games with his negative tactics and excuses about what he would have done in second half if some excuse about ref or players.
