Made me look stupid So Portmore couldn't score against teams from the DR and Haiti, but nearly beat Cruz Azul. The deluge better come in the 2nd leg for pride's sake... The hilarious thing is that Mena was completely offside...until Dejan Jakovic ran past the play and far enough to put him on right when the pass was made to him.

Lack of defense killed us in the playoffs, and I said we would only survive against Leon if we got our shit together in the backline. We didn't, so now we have to play a near perfect game on the 27th.
"If we get our shit together in the backline" is basically saying if they each and collectively play the game of their lives. Those are trash defenders. You can't just expect them to "get their shit together" and play well above their ability.
