Despite Atleti being our city rivals, it should be obvious why so many of us would rather Liverpool crash out. They pose a bigger threat in the competition They are the bigger financial and brand threat in the matchup. They have had the media raving about them for years now. They have players with a much better chance of snatching individual honors away from our players. They are possibly our biggest competition in the transfer market.
