Atleti really need to get themselves at least another goal, without conceding one themselves, if they want to confidently go back to Anfield.
Tense game though, with Pool going close a few times. Partey has been very good in midfield, doing so much work there for Atleti.
Meanwhile in Dortmund, Haaland has broken the deadlock in their game vs PSG. Unreal.

Check that, he's got 2 on the day: Neymar got the equalizer for PSG but Haaland got himself another to give Dortmund the lead back.
1229884050468474881 is not a valid tweet id

What a strike! That's 10 goals total now in his maiden season in the competition.

I expected both Athletico (bad form) Dortmund (error prone back 4) to loose. Haaland with brace.

Partey's game today by the numbers.

Complete display and was a monster defensively.

Everytime I watch Halaand I get a little more depressed that we didn't get him. Reminds me of a young Ibra. Long, powerful, good control. The kid is going to be a star.

Control is lacking insofar. It could use work. But he's he's a baller.

Yes. Lanky but strong. Similar to Ibra.

Ok. I only saw the highlights, thought maybe he'd worn loose shorts, done a Paul Scholes tribute and he'd left an impression.

I see Klopp is at it again making excuses for a defeat. I swear this guy makes more excuses than Jose but the media still loves him.

Nagelsmann is most definitely one we need to keep an eye on, particularly if we end up missing out on Poch. With a patchwork backline, they've come and are outplaying Tottenham so far, away from home no less.
Really should have been ahead by now.

Big win for RBL today. Worth noting that Ndombele looked very good also in his cameo and Spurs fan should hope to see more of him and Lo Celso at the heart of their midfield going forward. The combination of Ndombele's drive and energy, with Lo Celso's creativity could be a big help to the players upfront, in terms of putting them in position to score.
Based on today's evidence, they're in a world of trouble in that dept, as expected.

Barca just signed a new player from another Spanish club in February. Why did the Spanish FA make this special exception you ask? Because one of their players was injured...ya know, the thing that happens to every team in every league literally every season.

Every club in La Liga can get this exception though.

Besides the player they signed? Lolol

    Can? Sure.

    Would? Doubt it.

Plus how does UEFA let this shit happen? Basically lets them add depth so they can rest their starters for Europe therefore giving them an advantage.

BS and shady rule from La Liga, but if it's there Barca (or any club in the same situation really) would be fools not to take advantage of it, given their current circumstances.
Hardly surprising though coming from Spain and La Liga: they always seem to have these kind of convenient loopholes available. La Liga is to blame here...

The one thing is, they should not be able to add to their 25 man CL roster.

The epl could allow this, even outside the fifa window. They just won't.

What makes this even worse is that Braithwait is Leganes top scorer and they are currently in a relegation spot. They couldn’t tell Barcelona no because Barca paid his release clause and they were turned down when asked if they could sign a replacement.

How is La Liga getting away with this shit? It’s clear favoritism.
