Brandt is a big miss, we are relying on Sancho for all the creativity and he plays better when he can play off someone creative. Him and Zag looked nervous at first but is settling in now.

It doesn't look bad by us so far and Paris is offering us chances on the counter but we couldn't take advantage of that yet.
But yes, the others do good in bringing the ball forward fast enough but much relies on Sancho to create something dangerous. It would be good to have either one of Brandt, Reus or Dahoud for creativity but this is a game when we need Can as well.

Leave Can in and take out Hazard for Brandt

0:0 at halftime. Paris' gameplan seems to be the long ball over our defense which we know can work. Both teams seem very cautious, still some good interceptions by us that could have cost Paris against a more lethal team.
A goalless draw wouldn't be the worst.

1:1, really too easy walking through our midfield/defense.

And Haaland answers with a fantastic strike. Paris' defense might be as bad as ours.

We almost gifted them one. Wide open game but they'll surely score if we only play to defend.

As usual with a few minutes to go we could win 4-1 or lose 2-4 .... Favre led team are that unpredictable....

A tie in Paris would see us through.... But if we are to lose we'll need to score at least one....

They came close to scoring in the last sec. That reinforces something that I've seen the last few games. When some of our guys get subbed, they don't take the normal long walk back to the bench but they just leave the pitch quickly on the sidelines. In the last game it didn't hurt and they used the chance to make their exit in front of the yellow wall. But when the coach wants to waste time and kill of the game, they need to get smarter.

I had no idea about that rule, it was just strange seeing that change in behavior. It may make sense but it's a bit odd.

Haaland, dear God... That kid looks do funny on the pitch.. But he is a freak of nature.. Thats speed, that insane anticipation, mentality..
Did you see his reactions on the pitch, when his teammate scores, when he scores, when he misses, when we win, when we lose, this kid has some freaky mentality, i would almost say CR mentality, he is hungy as hell...
20M, no questions, the best buy in histo4y of Dortmund, you can say that already (Schulz 25m??!! Hahahha)...
I think he will be better than Lewy when it comes to career succes, he has that winning mentality

Overall a strong performance from us. I hope the conceded goal does not cost us the tie.

Well, when Haaland scores his guaranteed one-goal minimum, we'll have an away goal too :) And his brace will give us the tie breaker. Never fear! ;-)
