Jeez what a sick dribble around two players forcing one of them to grab him and pull him down from behind.

Still everything to play for in the second leg.

So who's the lucky player who snagged Reyna's game-worn jersey?

So BVB started two teenagers and two 20 year olds against PSV but didn't really get going until they brought in the guy who can't even buy a drink in Germany. SMH.

Oh, BTW, congratulations Gio on becoming the next American teenager to play a CL knockout game and assisting as well.

i thought the yellow was frustration at the time, but with his fresh legs reyna might very well have been gone there without that foul

Haaland was such an incredible coup for them. He hasn't missed a single step from what he was showing with Salz. Wonderful impact-- again-- by Gio. He's a perfect impact sub atm and an imperfect starter. When he puts a few more things together he will be a force...maybe when he's Haaland's age  we'll see the true player he is.

Awesome result in both games today, second legs will be juicy juicy.

He shows strength on the turn, particularly for a 17 yr old.

Mbappé, DiMaria & Neymar each is playing in their planet. With Verratti out, I'd bet on Dortmund.

Atletico's about to get punked in L'pool.

I think he should start over the weekend. That's definitely true if no competition returns beforehand. Regardless, I think it would be good experience for him and the manager should have relative confidence. Hazard has bottled his last few opportunities, while Gio out-played him off the bench, and while the game is on the road it's against a recent pushover in Werder.

Agreed, and although it's still early, Håland is also showing considerable promise.

    He’s special folks.

finally took that next step of picking his head up and looking for the next pass. I guess all it takes is to play with better players rather than your same aged peers.

    He should start this weekend.

Kid’s ascent is absurd. Pulisic was at Dortmund for like 3x as long before he started getting regular minutes.

You know..... this whole Reyna-to-Haaland / Haaland-to-Reyna thing is going to be all the rage in Germany and in Europe sooner than later. I don't think I am getting ahead of myself either. I pretty level headed when it comes to expectations, labels, and trajectories of young players but damn..... every time I see these two on the pitch together something positive happens. Dortmund have two special players on their hands.

Crafty, smart, strong...like his dad with size and a passion for offense.

Haaland has received much of the attention, but Reyna has an impact almost every time he goes out there....as a 17-year old.

First time seeing Reyna play live, he reminds me of Kaka the way he dribbles. I don't think I ever see someone like that in our usmnt setup before.

I think it is still a bit early for a start. We already see the improvement curve continuing upward. Today he played magnificently. He even played well v. Mbappe on the latter's goal. Playing him fewer minutes allows him to concentrate. He doesn't need to get tired and frustrated and get pulled at the half.

I thought Hazard played well for the first half. I also thought Favre was smart to pull him for Reyna when he did (I'm gifted with 20/20 hindsight).

Sancho needs to see the team psychologist. He's losing millions on his next contract by playing below his talent level and I believe he is moving this summer? He seemed to be confusing PSG with Paderborn.
