Klopp is the best coach in the world at the moment and 1 of the most charismatic persons in the history of football i would say.. I just didnt get that Tuchel guy and his vision, we didnt have that quality to play all 22-24 players in the squad, i am not the fan of that kind of system, you cant have results with that kind of coaching.. In 2 years, that guy never came out on thr pitch with the same team and lineup. He experimented like crazy. Never understood what PSG sees in him, he brought in that elite club average players like Diallo, Sanabria, Kehrer, Paredes.. This guys are good for some smaller clubs, but for PSG they are average TT has that small mentality, not a big winning one
I never say this: But I had a feeling we would get PSG. They are clearly favorites, regardless of the fact that they are coached by Tuchel, whom I'm not a big fan of. He's tactically good. But he threw his players under the bus, in addition to the crazy rotation mentioned above. I wonder if he will still bow down to Master Guardiola if PSG ever drew City. Anyways, they are favorites, but there are 2 games still to play. We can definitely beat them.
Neymar is supposed to be playing. However this may be a high scoring match with neither team defending well.
I honestly expect the attacking elite of PSG to tore BVBs defense a new one. On the other hand, Sancho and Haaland surely are good for 1 or 2 as well. Should be a exciting match up nevertheless.
Neymar and Mbappe are elite but how affected will Neymar be? I would certainly call sancho elite as well. Midfield tracking back and helping keep possession is going to be huge
I thought the Can purchase was a foregone conclusion so I'm not sure why the announcement happened today.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/sport/amp/football/51551275 I would say Can is very underrated player.. This is a bargain
Hummels and Pizceck gave me a few heart attacks, but saved the day at other times. Not bad. We have a chance!
Id love to see the round of 8. that would be cool. Just need a draw now and we are there. anything else except for a 2-1 loss and we are screwed... I dont want any Extra time.
Watching Tott-Leipzig, such a shame we didnt get them in 1/8.. I thing we would beat this team with a hendicep.. They look terrible..
CL is wide open this season. Barca and Real no where near what they were, Juve looking shaky too. Liverpool despite their amazing record in the EPL are not actually playing that well either, and City are 1/4 final chokers with their iffy defence. With a better coach Dortmund would be strong contenders, but as it is I struggle to see Favre taking the team that far. My tip for the title at this point is probably Bayern.
This is very true, but sadly we have Favre. I think Bayern are too susceptible to a quick counter. I think it could be City's year. It's a shame, because this is a team as a good as any in Europe and has the potential to get even better, if we had a top manager.
Can has been great for us. For me, he is the sort of player people think Witsel is, but he isn't. He plays at the level Witsel should do. I would love to see a Dahoud/Can/Brandt midfield, but it will never happen under Favre.
I read that he is not starting against us, which is 99% true because he is out of training few days now. Its not even sure will he be in the squad. We have to use that 1.half without Mbappe, by far their most dangerous player..
Thiago Silva is out for tonights game.. Their defence is in trouble, they only have Kehrer, Diallo and Marquinhos in back, ans Marquinhos will most likely be in the midfield tonigh, so their CB duo will be Kehrer-Diallo...
Mbappe is in the squad for tonight, but an angina throat infection is not a small thing, we will see in what shape he is, i hope not great..
was just at the Parc des Princess last week for the Dijon match.... can't believe it will be completely empty now.... anyway, good luck tonight it's going to be an akward one to watch....
