Colombia is cursed. First the team was taken over by a parasite (CQ) and then these injuries and bad forms.

We have been cursed since November 2017 - Cardona set off a chain of events....

I am not as harsh (yet) on CQ. For me my biggest gripe was his lineup selection against Chile, given how he was rotating players around during the CA.

The injuries and form annoy me too. Guys like Diaz/Muriel (maybe Villa now too) are going to be the work horses next March and this summer. I don’t know how Roger will be a core member given his lack of playing time past few months

In my humble opinion, he and Benedetti are superior wingers for this system Quieroz uses than pretty much everybody who's been used there. Not including James, of course.

We'll potentially be halfway through the qualifiers by the time either of them will be fit...

Also, Sinisterra was a shoe in for a transfer to the big leagues this summer. Forget that now.

  8. This hurts very much. Wish him a good recovery.
He's one of the keys of the team's resurrection after coach Advokaat took control of the team and I was hoping for a clash with Ajax that would be about the first spot.

10 points seem much, but Ajax has a difficult encounter with Utrecht, AZ, Heerenveen and Feyenoord, with matches in the EL in between.
This injury is a big stick between Feyenoord's legs chasing Ajax.

  9. The unfortunate moment the injury happened:

    December eh?

Well. I should not be surprised due to all that is going on.
Hopefully he gets back to pre-injury form by March Qualifiers.

Sinisterra enters next phase of his revalidation ptocess. For the first time since his operation he has trained on the pitch. It is not expected though he will return to the team before the end of the winter break.

I dunno if I already mentioned it, but in june 2020 the Feyenoord supporters chose Luis as player of the year, even ahead of Steven Berghuis, topscorer and vital to Feyenoord. It shows how much Luis is liked by the fans.

Latest update on Sinisterra is that he may be able to play in about a Month.
Hopefully he can play well again and get called up in March.

  21. Luis is part of the Feyenoord selection for the Europa League match against Wolfsberger AC. Maybe sub in minutes to start with.
    Welcome back Luis. Missed you.

can’t wait to see him and Diaz on the Nt tho he will probably be Diaz sub unless we go to a 3-4-3 with wingers
