Well, in a sense we have another "big game": isn't Dijon the team that forced a 0-0 draw vs Lyon at the 6th match-day of this season's league? :p

Well, they did it once, why couldn't they do it again?

(Half-joking, but on the other hand OL is now Ada-less ;)).

    there's two main reason for sometimes Lyond low score or goal-less draws;
1)Lyon tends to a more passing team & will probably take a lot less shots because of hence if yon only takes(anybody knows how many shots per game they take?)
But compare that lets say NC Courage and their 'direct futobl' where they take nearly 40 shots a game, you now the Courage are probably going to score a lot more goals.
    2) its the way most opponents defend vs Lyon

OL was scoreless until the 75th minute the last game against Dijon. It ended 2-0.

On another hand, counter attack or direct play are not really the best ways to go against teams that firstly play to defend

I will be strongly inclined to predict that too, but I can't help wondering if Bordeaux have the strength to make an upset happen. The league matches seem to indicate that they're not there yet, but anyway the Girondins are and up and coming team and an offensive line of Shaw, Asseyi and Sarr can't be easily discounted.

Of course, it looks like OL, on top of being OL, were also quite lucky with the draw, getting the easier team and leaving the others two to battle for a place in the final.

    Matchday 16 today :

    Guingamp PSG
    PFC Reims
    Marseille Fleury
    Metz Dijon
    Soyaux Bordeaux

    Sunday
    Lyon Montpellier.

    One funny anecdote from Wednesday:

Earlier in the season I interviewed a French player Lea who plays for Brighton now. She complained about the work conditions at her previous club Guingamp.

I was with our webmaster at the France v Germany u17 game. I was doing the live tweeting in the stand and he was takings pics pitchside. He came up in the stand at half time to type a match report and other stuff. He sat next to me.

A guy came up to say hello, ask my webmaster if he is S. The guy introduced himself and launched into a tirade about my interview : what you published created a lot of shit at the club, you should have rang me to hear our side of the story .... bla bla bla. It was the manager from the players old club...

He was pissed off . Unbelievable as it was an interview published in September...

    Results

    Guingamp 1 PSG 4
    PFC 0 Reims 0
    OM 2 Fleury 3
    FC Metz 1 Dijon 2

PSG level on points with Lyon as OL plays tomorrow against MHSC. OL still ahead on the head to head record that is the tie breaker in D1 Arkema.

At the bottom of the table, Metz and Marseille have lost while Dijon won and Reims got a point. It means Metz are 12 points away from safety with six games to go while Marseille are eight points away from safety. Unless a miracle happens those two teams will go down to Division 2.

And the first team under relegation threat is not long Dijon because Soyaux have had their appeal denied by the FFF as the DNCG had penalised them for 3 points for budget problems.

The Direction Nationale du Controle de Gestion is the organization responsible for monitoring and overseeing the accounts of professional football clubs in France. It is the first time ever that they have penalised a women team.

    Lyon 5 Montpellier 0

Lyon back with a 3 points lead over PSG.

The big game is planned for matchday 17 on Saturday 14 March. Currently Lyon are trying to change the date of the game but there is no agreement with PSG so far. Lyon beat PSG 1-0 in the home game and the head to head record is the tie breaker if teams are level on points.

PSG have not beaten Lyon in the League or in the Champions League by another scoreline than 1-0 ever. .

I found out why Lyon wants to move the PSG game. It is straight after the Spring tournaments so some of their player will be back on Friday with the PSG game the next day...

OL have put a communique complaining about the PSG game date and how unfair it is.
They are not wrong in term of health and safety for the players. They really should play the next Monday or Tuesday.

    D1 Arkema Day 16 Highlights

    Fc Metz v Dijon FCO

Olympique de Marseille v FC Fleury 91

ASJ Soyaux Charente v Girondins de Bordeux

En Avant Guingamp v Paris Saint-Germain

    Olympique Lyonnais v Montpellier HSC

Paris FC v Stade de Reims ended 0 - 0

It seems unfair but like you said some weeks ago it might be PSG's only chance
