How to do it... ...and how not to do it Traveling north from Lima can be a terrifying experience, b/w large stretches on cliffs overlooking the Pacific and the lack of guard rails anywhere. Speaking from personal experience (when I first moved to Lima, I went to Guayaquil every 3 months to renew my tourist stay until I got my residency visa): traveling by bus is absolutely not the time to cut costs. Choose a high-end bus service - i.e. the ones that can afford to have kiosks at the malls, I'd recommend Oltursa - so that you can go with drivers who 1) won't pick up questionable passengers along the way and 2) prefer making it safely to making it on time, i.e. they won't try to pass cars on a one-lane road or up in the mountains.

So Guido Rodriguez is getting slammed by the Betis fans, some even questioning the strategy of sourcing players from Mexican League. LOL
Sadly, Mexican players or players coming from Mexican teams don't seem to get a fair shake en La Madre Patria, and haters eat that shit up.
I mean the track record for wilas abroad has not been great. Plus he played awful before they pulled him off.

Euro fans are pretty unfair with Liga MX talent, but how many foreign players who went to Europe from the Mexican league have been good? Camoranesi, and...? I can't think of many off the top of my head. Guido Pizarro failed Chucho Benitez failed Tito Villa failed Chelito Delgado failed Vicente Sanchez failed Aquivaldo Mosquera failed That one defender from Toluca failed

I hope for Liga MX's sake that Guido turns it around but it's true that he's been trash. Wilas living in their alternate reality again isn't gonna change that.
WTF is failed? Chelito Delgado lasted a while in Lyon. He didn't kill the league but neither did he go and embarrass himself. Same with Villa. I think the idea that they must kill the league or they are a failure is wrong. Like I remember Chupete Suazo went to Zaragoza and did good for 6 months but he was too costly to get bought and some people then tried to say he failed. Now Guido has been a whole month there and is now doomed. People should chill.
