Was his post specifically targeting Bernie, or was it just a general "We need to stop attacking each other" video?
I had Bloomberg blocked. But after viewing the ad, if your take away from that ad is "Oh god! That coffin attack was by Warren supporters!" while ignoring all the attacks that were by Bernie bros, you should probably take a cold, hard look at yourself.
Why should Bernie supporters be concerned about what a racist POS like Bloomberg thinks of them? Better question, why are you promoting his BS? Bloomberg only terrorized millions of minorities, sexually harassed dozens of women, told a pregnant woman to 'kill her baby" and suggested to his female employees that a computer program that can perform oral sex could replace them. But hey, "Bernie Brahs" are toxic.
Overall if the worst thing about Sanders is that some of his supporters are mean online, I think we need some perspective.
This....”they hurt my feelings” Meanwhile people are at best, “tolerant of,” or downright combative towards Sanders supporters....just look on this forum I have to wonder how he keeps on winning in polls with all these “brahs” being so mean? *nevermind that I’ve been in the receiving end from HRC(2016) Biden, Warren and Klobacher supporters.....I just don’t engage in Twitter...it’s pointless
This is where I'm upset that I can't find a good capture online of the Visa ad from the mid-90s with George Seifert singing "Blame on It on the Bossa Nova."
I am interested in media. BB is basically flooding the zone with trash like trump 16, except with paid rather than earned media Then when everyone freaks out, he wins So in this case it was a rapid response to a tactical oppo
The naivety and lack of self awareness of the Bernie supporters and particularly the Brah's is simply mind boggling and frightening. They are really living in their bubble and have no clue about politics in the real world. We will be in deep trouble comes November with that crew, if Bernie is the nominee.
I wonder if supporters of the Bernard "plurality rule" will say the same thing if Mikey B rolls into convention with the plurality? Because I would hope where that happened, the party would kill him off.
I’ve been pretty clear....whoever wins the nom HAS to get elected....egal who it is. In the General, F**k policies...Drumpf must be prime directive here. I had good discussions about this while waiting to get in.
I am talking about what happens if Mike B or Bernard arrive at convention short of 50% but with the plurality
And it didn’t take long for a response ....whoever was giving the Bernie Brigade kudos....there’s quite a bit of imagination out there... 1229475163802042369 is not a valid tweet id
@American Brummie have you read this book? https://www.amazon.com/Identity-Crisis-Presidential-Campaign-Meaning/dp/0691196435 The author has a very strong anti hot take take. The hot take is that Hillary ran negative ads about Trump's unfitness for office, she lost, therefore negative ads about his unfitness for office don't work. The author posted this Moreover, multiple experimental tests of Clinton ads showed that they tended to help her and/or hurt Trump. Here's a key passage from our book: pic.twitter.com/AxFWcUYa0f— John Sides (@johnmsides) February 17, 2020 Thoughts? I'm reminded of how many times I've read that the key to beating Berlusconi was to ignore his weird shenanigans and focus on his policies. I think the Dem leadership is following that strategy. I, personally, am on team John Sides provides interesting evidence. I have concerns about a Sanders-Bernie Bro self righteousness feedback loop.
There is no way that somebody will convince me that Trump's victory showed that negative campaigning doesnt work. No possible way.
The argument is NOT that it doesn't work. The argument is that it doesn't work against Trump, and/or that if it's against a true outlier like Trump or Berlusconi, the negative ads have to be about policy.
