Playing Marcelo and Bale is a waste of minutes. Just play Mendy and Nacho at LB for the rest of the season and give all of Bale’s minutes to Vinicius and Rodrygo. Also, Carvajal and Benzema are in really bad form. They couldn’t have picked a worst moment. Varane has also been meh recently.

Varane switched off twice and cost us. Too busy watching the ball carrier. Benzema can't pick a corner, Ramos looked more likely to score up there than our #9. I question Vinicius' footballing IQ a lot of the time.

Holding an offside line is guesswork with him on the lineup. It's easier for players to pick a pass behind the central defense when they are always questioning how deep they are standing corresponding to Marcelo. And that's just one issue out of like, 15 right now.
What we cannot change does not bother me as much. Example being stuck with Carvajal, who is all about his trademark dumbass moments. But what pisses me off, are inherently dumb decisions which cause issues. Why start Marcelo today? Start Mendy and your back line is 300% more solid. Plus, instruct him to get a yellow and be suspended vs. Levante so you can comfortably play vs. Barca which is crucial. Then Mendy enters and no yellow? Followed by keeping Marcelo on pitch, playing him higher and then also moving highly dangerous Vin on right flank where he is 70% less lethal. I mean, wtf?
