Possibly done for his career but until he officially retires I am still clinging to hope that he can come back for this Colombian tournament.
"R.I.P." has risen up from the ashes before.

Emotionally he totally deserves to be there. Professionally the last Copa America for me was enough to see that his time in the NT has come to an end. The facts are that at the moment Duvan, Muriel, Morelos and even Borre should be ahead of him and you know what? Even Teo.

A lot can change between now and June.

True, but the history with his form after injuries is not good for us.

    That is true.
Hence, I said it is possible his career is over, but hope springs eternal.

Teo really? He's 34 and we have more then enough currently in Duvan, Morelos, Muriel and Roger and if we wanted a player of Teo's profile hands down it should go to Borre who is younger and has made big strides in the last year or so. I think we should move on completely from Falcao and Teo, they were great but we have very good young players who we need to embrace and give the new generation their deserved chance. Falcao, Teo, Bacca have all been really good players, but they're very old and at this point are very limited in lots of areas, we have very good all round players at forward right now who are competing at high levels in difficult competitions every week (minus Roger who's at a low level in Mexico) they've earned the chance for us to rely on them.

I started the Teo talks as “tongue in cheek” humor bc of the games we will have in Barranquilla for the Copa America and his past form anytime we played in that stadium.

Outside a rash of injuries/suspensions, I do not really think CQ is going to call on Teo when Roger/Diaz/Muriel/Duvan/Morelos have been the core attackers with other rising stars on the fence too.

If that scenario happens, I will be convinced CQ and staff read this forum and are trolling us.

Most probably BEIN yes but there could be negotiations for the English rights.

Not sure about Copa America. My guess would be on Telemundo or on BEIN.

ESPN is focused on the Euros so it would kind of suck if they got Copa America.

All of their main soccer staff will be in Europe while the local scrubs would get the Copa and whatever the International feed is..
Would be the most lame Copa broadcast in years if it an ESPN+ exclusive.

Hope Telemundo or Bein get the Spanish rights.

I think you are confusing Telemundo with UDN. Telemundo usually has Cantor and fhen 2 guys from whatever countries are playing.

I mean the channels I watch think they are usually from Argentina or Uruguay the announcers and they actually talk about the players playing.

I don’t want to see a discussion about Mexico during a Colombia game

Well Mexico is not even in the Copa America so I doubt they would talk about them much.

I already pay for ESPN+ therefore their coverage would be best!

I am surprised this hasn't been announced either way already tbh.

I believe NBC has english tv rights and Telemundo has Spanish for the upcoming Copa América.

I have not heard anything about that.

That would be weird since NBC focuses on Premiere League in English and I don't think those guys know much about South American futbol.
    But we shall see.

I hope Quieroz stop the 3 forwards nonsense. Villa is playing well and Diaz is playing well. It's time to have wingers with Duvan or La maquina at 9. They need to start calling Luis Suarez. I don't care if he is playing 2nd division Spain. He will playing 1 division football next season.
