It's been allowed on TV since for ever. Private productions (TV series, adverts etc..) often featured uncovered women. The only thing unusual in this case is it being semi-government.

    Suren01 repped this.

Initiative Q is an attempt by ex-PayPal guys to create a new payment system instead of credit cards that were designed in the 1950s. The system uses its own currency, the Q, and to get people to start using the system once it's ready they are allocating Qs for free to people that sign up now (the amount drops as more people join - so better to join early). Signing up is free and they only ask for your name and an email address. There's nothing to lose but if this payment system becomes a world leading payment method your Qs can be worth a lot. If you missed getting bitcoin seven years ago, you wouldn't want to miss this.

Here is my invite link: https://initiativeq.com/invite/SGaOYVzhX

This link will stop working once I’m out of invites. Let me know after you registered, because I need to verify you on my end.

Does anyone know why Saudi Arabia has declined to hold an OIC (Organization of Islamic Countries) conference on Jammu & Kashmir - occupied by India in which 10 Million Muslims are under severe siege by 8 Million Indian Army ?

Why Saudi Arabia has not counted Jammu & Kashmir to be an Ummah Issue ?... If Kashmir is Not an Ummah issue then what's the criteria that qualifies any issue to be considered as an Ummah issue ?

Is Ummah concept among Saudi Arabia over, and there's no more Ummah in the world ?... Is materialism more superior than Ummah ?

When the Prophet Mohammad (SAW) described in his last Sermon (Khutba Hijjahtul Widda) that all Muslims are one, there's no difference between a white and black, an Arab and non-Arab then why is Ummah divided on Arab and Non-Arab grounds ?...

The answer must be easy. Don't mess with super and semi super powers. Same reason Saudi Arabia is not making a fuss about situation of muslim Uigurs in China.

I think its not a black and white issue.
We have over a million Indian muslim expats here. And their opinion regarding Kashmir is the polar opposite of Pakistanis.
I mean there are over 100 million muslims in India. Some live in muslim majority areas. Some are in the Army. Its very complicated. Even Bangladesh did not want to be part of pakistan and prefers better ties with India. Arent they part of the Ummah too?
Milking foreign (mainly border) conflicts is always good for governments to control its populace and reinforce nationalism.
I dont claim to be well informed but I wish governments in that region worry more about their own local problems. But that would never happen of course.
