After one full season of Jimmy G starting in San Fran, is it fair to compare him to Jared Goff? In other words, he's a QB reliant on having a run game going so he can look good passing via play action. If you ask him to drop back too many times, he is going to look mediocre. Or has anyone seen any signs of him developing and improving that area of his game?
agreed, i said b4 this game he's not a top 10 qb. Not sure why shannahan went pass happy with a ten point lead when the run was working.....
It was the same thing when he was the OC at the Falcons. They barely ran the ball in the second half that game. Shanahan was the main culprit for blowing that game. Sure, he's still a good coach but he has choked twice in the Super Bowl and didn't learn from his first mistake.
