Call me a fanboy if you want. I don't care, maybe I am. I'm not gonna deny that he had a bad start, and has to and can do better. We saw a glimmer of him doing better just before his injury.

But what you said bout his injury is just not very reasonable since again you don't have any real proof. He didn't inflict the injury on himself, it was the result of Meunier kicking him. It takes time even for even a hairlinefracture to heal and the decision to come back from an injury is often a joined decision by player, coach and medical staff. You can't take any risks.I am quite sure that my fanboyism is not clouding my judgment in this one.

Yes it does however even when players are in optimal shape they still get injured.
Blunt force trauma was the reason Hazard got injured.
It doesn't matter how optimal in shape you are if someone kicks you from behind while the tip of your foot is in the ground causing it to bend in a way it wasn't meant to bend.
Let's not pretend this is constructive criticism.
People are frustrated at the situation and are looking for someone to blame.
    That is what this is.
This was an injury that happened because of blunt force trauma yet people like you are trying to frame this as if Hazard could have avoided it if only he was a couple pounds lighter.

Of course it matters. It always does. Being in shape drastically reduces your chances of injury, and that includes "blund force trauma" related injuries. You disagree with that?

Actually he would factually avoided this situation if he came ready for a pre-season. De Facto.

That's fiction. Ask Dr.Strange about all the other scenarios that could have happened.

    This is constructive.

Not one of my post demeaned the player. You guys just attack every post that challenges the player to do more, show more or meet the hefty expectations.

The guy has been in training for three weeks now, yet you guys are trying to convince us he can't do small cameos to get fitness.

    It is ridiculous.

Had this been a player you same guys didn't like you would be viciously attacking.

After all Bale would have these long layoffs with "patient" returns until the big matches and you would be critical. Rightly so.

Now you're against it because apparently this player is more important for you than tje ckubs fortunes.

I mean FFS he started the season injured BECAUSE he came here out of shape.

I don't know why anyone is defending him.

I don't care how much I like a player, he needs to buck up his ideas and get this shit rolling.

The only reason why he has been destroyed by the media is Zidane and this defense giving us a lead in La Liga. Without that fingers would start pointing and the first to be pointed at would be our €100M man.

Just because you're not demeaning a player doesn't mean it's constructive.
I'm not "attacking" anyone's post. I simply disagree with people and i'm having a discussion about it.

The only player i've been really negative about has been Bale ( and to a much lesser extent James)
Bale injury record is crazy. He's gotten injured so many times that the club is actively trying to cover up injuries and even himself blocking the club from posting medical information to the fans.

Besides the injuries there's also the comments he made about wanting to leave, going behind managers back , leaving games early. You then add in his agent running his mouth off every couple of months, lacklustre performances ,the whole "Wales, Golf, Madrid in that order" crap and it's not so hard to figure out why i'm upset with him.
With Bale we're not talking about a couple of incidents. It's countless discretions that have culminated over the years to a point where i'm just fed up with it all.

I don't have a problem with people criticizing Hazard for how he arrived, the injury he sustaine in the beginning or his performances in the first 3 months but i do have a problem with people making unsubstansitiated claims that Hazard is somehow purposely refusing to play games.
Like do you even have a single report to back that up ?
If Hazard was the one refusing to play don't you think that would get out ?

EDIT : Also the big problem with playing games, even small cameo's, is that opponents don't give a shit about our players. In practice players usually don't go all out and will be cautious (apart from Vazquez :p). Like imagine if Hazard came on for the last 30 minutes and was on the end of that challenge that Valverde had to take at Osasuna.

Simply put. Hazard needs to step up and quick. Others are waiting.

Hazard showed up out of shape which led to him missing the start of the season due to injury.

If you have the stomach to criticize Bale, you should also show some spine and be critical of Eden.

Everything you have said is just as "unsubstantiated".

He has been in training for weeks yet hasn't played and you think it's only Zidane and the club holding him back?

First you guys used the pathetic excuse of "well he was injured and this injury effects different players differently!". This was total nonsense because he isn't injured, he is in training and he has been in training for weeks now. If he could easily reinjure himself they wouldn't have allowed him to join the main group.

So yeah, wonder boy is holding himself out till he feels mentally prepared.

I just hope he doesn't let me down with the remainder of the season has he has the first seven months.

I don't know if it's mental issue or not, what I do know is that the health/physical department in our club is the last unit I would trust with estimates or handling serious injuries.
I would not be surprised if it is them that putting the pressure not to play.

I just want to state that most fans say this. There are very few club teams with known (or perceived) excellent physios. In every sport there's about 1 or 2 clubs with excellent physios and the rest of the teams are all garbage. It's just one of those things that fans get very, very wrong.

not sure how much wrong you can be on our medical stuff. never mind when players are injured, but the amount of players that are injury prune that we signed is just staggering.

There are more fans currently unimployed than fans with a Doctor's degree, so in medical terms, they don't know what the hell they are talking about.

Clubs would rather put a player on crack if it were legal as long as he's out there playing. Doctors are mostly to diagnose and rush players back in most cases.

That’s my concern as well, but I don’t think it’s realistic to expect he’d be firing on all cylinder right away, stranger things have happened though.

Conversely, you could argue that the physio team deserves some credit for the form we see from players like Casemiro, Kroos, Valverde, Modric, Varane. Casemiro has been playing practically every game without a sign of slowing down. He’s in peak conditioning
