Yeah we know Chucky has always played in spurts. I think if there's ever been a time where you can feel disappointed without wondering if the media is just overreacting, it's now. I think the bad moment is partly circumstantial but I still thought he'd overcome it faster.

He hasn’t had the opportunities to prove himself in my opinion. You can’t buy a left winger and play him as a striker, then only allow him to play scrap minutes and say he hasn’t proved himself. Now we don’t know how or what he does in practice. He just needs to close this chapter and move on. He can be a steal for an important club this summer.
It’s true that he may have been played out of position, but I don’t think he can complain about not being given minutes to prove himself.
He probably wouldn’t even be in this situation if he had taken advantage of all the time Ancelotti gave him.
