AlHilal beat AlAhli 3-1 at home last night and reach to the 27th pts

they become the 2nd in the table now behind ALNassr (29pts) with one match in hand for AlHilal.

Ittihad FC is in big mess again this season after terrible last season. Already 2 coaches sacked & the management is a mess.

Saleh Saqri former player and manager of the club resigned 2 days before and has now accused the management & coach for the mess the club is currently in.

Foreign players left without any pay and are prepared to file complaints against the club in FIFA.

The bottom line is how can a club with rich history can go awfull in 3 seasons without being audited by the Saudi FA. The same should be applied to other clubs too.

Congrats Hilal on winning the league for this season and upcoming seasons until your corrupted officials who are handling the FA are not off the post.

Start playing football and win the league instead of winning $$$

Al-Hilal is only 2 wins away from Title out of remaining 5 matches.

Playing the league without spectators aside, Saudi FA should restrict the no. of foreign players allowed to play in the playing 11 team.
The no. of foreign players playing in playing 11 should be 3 max. among the playing 11.
This will provide opportunity to Saudi players to play, perform and groom. For e.g., Saleh Al Shehri in Al-Hilal is a talented striker but he is finding it extremely hard to find playing time in presence of Gomes and Khirben. Similar situate is faced by other players not only in Al-Hilal but all other clubs.

If above is not possible, then Saudi FA should have a tournament like Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Cup in which, all teams playing should play with only Saudi nationals (and no foreign players be playing this tournament).

Can anyone relay the above message to Saudi FA ?

You mean Hilal continuing winning the games after bribing the other teams and the referee's ?They are getting dubious penalties in almost every game they face against mid table or bottom team..

TBH, I have slowly starting disliking the league now.. Firstly, too much unpredictability.. Shabab wins a game against a like wise team and loose the next game to bottom table team..
    Coaches fired everyweek..Players getting AWOL..
No proper stadiums for the clubs to get established to the ground and actually call it there home ground..Shabab and Nasser are the most unlucky ones in this. You find them playing in King Fahd or Malaz Stadium or Shabab Stadium..Hilal has fixed there ground and the players are adapted to it now.. Likewise in Jeddah, Jawharah stadium started looking old now since every game is being played there of Ittihad and Ahli..
Last but not the least, has any one showed FA yet they top goal scoring strikers in the league and how many are locals? Are they really expecting the NT to grow and develop like this?

Two three seasons if things don't improve the league might be only better in terms of revenue and show-off but the most suffering will be on NT..

Exactly the point I made i.e., foreign players are given opportunity at the expense of local (Saudi) players thus, Saudi is failing to discover Saudi Talent. Saleh Al Shehri in Hilal is not getting playing time due to presence of Gomes, Kheirbeen... Similar story with the Saudi striker in Al Shahbab, etc.

news broke in Saudi that Al-Fateh, the team Al-Taawon beat yesterday and Kaku scored against in their Cup game, has officially protested the results citing Kaku's participation.

Hey I have a question, I may be going to Saudi next month and would like to catch a game while I'm there. I noticed Al Ittihad play Al Hazm on March 18 ad could extend my stay in Jeddah to catch that. How does one go about buying a ticket for games in Saudi and can visitors attend? Here in Qatar you can only buy tickets online, and need to show your Ehtraz (app) status. Any info would be great as there doesn't seem to be much in English online. Thanks!

    Hey!

    You can definitely attend.

    - You can buy tickets via https://www.makani.com.sa/Pages/Home.aspx. Mostly they will update the details couple of days before match.
    - You can buy tickets in the Stadium too.
    - You must have Tawakallna App to enter the stadium. It must show Immune.

    Regards

Awesome great. Qatar just changed its rules so no PCR test needed to return form Saudi so I changed my flight and extended my stay in Saudi. 3 nights in Riyadh/Edge of World, 2 nights Al Ula, then 2 in Jeddah - hopefully concluding with the Ittihad vs Hazm match on the 18th.

I know about Tawakallna so will have that. Will the game be at the King Abdullah Sports City? Here in Qatar they seem to play games at random stadiums.

Managed to get into the stadium after all. Just went and found some guys with a spare ticket which they forwarded. Pretty cool experience given the fact that it was practically a sellout. Great stadium too

    Here's some in game highlights

And just the goals for the lazy ones :D

Guess this result puts Al Ittihad in a good position to go on to win the title. Al Hazm put up a decent fight for over an our, but look all but relegated now.

Congratulations to Al-Ittihad in advance as surely Al-Ittihad will win the title from here (as there's 5 points gap between Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal - assuming that Al-Hilal will 2 games in hand, and with only 5 matches remaining where Al-Ittihad can afford a slip in any 1 match while Al-Ittihad hardly plays any strong team that can challenge Al-Ittihad from win (apart from Al-Hilal match).

So, congrats to Al-Ittihad in advance and better luck for Al-Hilal next season

If I'm not mistaken though, Hilal can bring it to 5 points if they win their 2 games in hand, and Ittihad and Hilal do play each other once more, so not over completely, but would take quite a meltdown from Ittihad for that to happen

All the forces are against Ittihad to win the title this season..Its really a tough road ahead for Ittihad given the squad depth is not very strong as Hilal. Although we managed to stay float with absence of Hegazy but any further injury to any of the key players like Romarinho or Hamdallah put the race in jeopardy.

Still in play but there is some advantage. Let's see what happens after ACL group stage finishes.
