Pjanic should be benched 100%. I'm not sure what role in the midfield he's got.

We are stuck with Ramsey Rabiot til their contract ends. They have high salaries no one will pay for. Especially Ramsey who will be 30s soon. Our best bet is to cash in on Pjanic and let go of Matuidi, Khedira...bring in new blood in the summer

I just gotta say its pretty sad that even with Ronaldo, we are not considered favorites to win CL. In the old days we would make jokes about that and now we finally do have him and the midfield is worst its ever been. Aquilani probably coulda competed

My god, Juve needs to fire their whole front office!

Sarri ball has been a total failure, Cuadrado, Costa all playing out of position, Dybala is roaming so where out there.

Overall this team is In shambles, we can’t fking get it together as a team, all season we get a goal and then we concede almost immediately.

At least with Allegri we didn’t have issues conceding these many goals.
I felt comfortable with a 1-0 or a 2-0 lead, but with this team we better score 5 goals because we are going to be conceding a lot.

We are top heavy, defense will be okay, the midfield is just absolute trash.
How the hell do we spend more than anyone on the midfield and literally feels like every game our forwards have to make things happen in order to score?
We need to dump every midfielder, fire sale and get Pogba back.

I had high hopes for Rabiot, either he is that crappy or Sarri totally fails to motivate his guys.

If we keep this up we are going to be out of the CL soon.

Even with Chiellini back this team still broken.
If Rabiot can’t get it together then bench him and force him to request a transfer. Same for Ramsey.

Only guy besides Ronaldo that came to play was Costa.
Dybala lacks consistency, he was awful with his dribbling, as of late he just can’t get past defenders.

I don't think I agree with you all on Rabiot. He didn't play well at the start of the season but I have a feeling he is slowly improving and could be a key player for us in the midfield. Another important midfielder is Bentancur.

Pjanic started so well in september, october, but he is totally useless now and a liability.

But yeah, my overall feeling is that our midfield is a disaster. What is worse I think is, that tactically, we seem to be worse than a few months ago. No sense of improvement in that regard. I also have a feeling that Sarri doesn't exactly know what to do with his squad.

Sarri hasn't put together a decent midfield. IMO he just needs to field a proper diamond.

We don’t have a midfielder at all.
Someone bring Hamsik in, he would be better than the trash we have.

Yes we have looked pretty average, but the level of overreaction is incredible...Hamsik...Aquilani? Aquilani wasn't good enough when our midfield was Felipe Melo, young Marchisio, and Momo Sissoko in 2009.

Sarri is supposed to be this football mastermind, figure this s**t out! Be bold if you have to, you literally dropped Ronaldo for underachieving...Sarri has shown bits of pragmatism this year, so I have some hope he will be able to get us where we need to be by the end of the year. Inter and Lazio have tough matches away from home to end out the year and we were very fortunate to draw Lyon in the CL.

I’m still sick to my stomach from what I’ve seen from this team the last few weeks.
    No guts.

Sarri needs to really get it together before it’s too late.

    Who is Sarri?

He started in 1990 coaching an amateur side and worked his way through to Serie C and then Serie B to finally land with Empoli in 2012. After two seasons, he got them promoted to Serie A in 2014. The following season, he avoided relegation by finishing in 15th.

The next season, he replaced Benitez at Napoli. It was a team of nobodies other than Higuain and he did well inserting his system. He got them to second. But it was not a group of great talent who could play on their own. So his system worked.

He moved on to Chelsea and the system had mix success. Chelsea were OK in the PL but managed to win the Europa. The quality of players at Chelsea were much better than Napoli. Better was expected of him and Chelsea easily let him go.

No doubt this is the most talent he has ever coached. It is more than 11 deep. Yet, rotation is not what we see and player motivation is weak. Is he Juve material?

It sure seems like he has rotated quite a bit. The midfield has been a rotating wheel between Khedira, Matuidi, Rabiot, and Bentancur with only Pjanic being the constant. Up front, he has rotated Higuain, Dybala, Costa, and Bernadeschi with Ronaldo being the only constant. Shoot, Gigi has played quite a few games for a backup. He moved around de Ligt, Demiral, Cuadrado, De Sciglio, and Danilo with Bonucci and Alex Sandro being consistently started.

In my eyes, Sarri can be blamed for a lot, but I think he has rotated the squad quite a bit outside of Bonucci, Sandro, Pjanic, and Ronaldo. Two of those 3 have really struggled as of late.

He has been forced to rotate due to injuries. Then when he thinks he has his set, he sticks to it. There is no rhyme or reason to his rotations. Nor does he take into account the opponent and the upcoming schedule. So either a player sits for a while or plays for a while.

We lack an identity. With the roster we have now... there's no difference if they played their home games in Torino or Tunisia... we need to get the italian influence back in the squad.

You and others are going to say... well theres no good italians. Bolshit. There's more than enough at equal level or better at many positions on our team (especially the midfield).

Name a realistic starting midfield of Italians that could complete not only in Serie A, but in Europe. Not a wishlist, but realistic for Juve to go out and purchase.

i'm not saying we have to put out 11 Italians and no foreigners... i'm not sure the exact number... but only 1 italian is not it.

But realistically... we couldn't we go after a Tonali or Castrovili, a Verratti.

We missed out on them now..but why didn't we grab a Barella or Sensi last summer? If they were called Stephen Sensey and Nicolas Barelovic... we probably would have spent more trying to get them.

Well Sensi wasn't anything special at Sassuolo, and Barella never wanted Juve if I remember correctly. Chiesa was going to cost north of 60 mil, no thanks for that money (see Berna for 40 mil+). CF are clearly the weakpoint for Italy and we unfortunately chose to make a large profit on Moises Kean.

We've also struck out on trying to foster Italian talent as well, Rugani was "developing" for 4 years. Mattia Perin wasn't able to supplant Woj, Sturaro, MDS were "ok" but never developed into world class talent.

With that in mind, I hope we bring in Tonali, who we might get much cheaper if Brescia are relegated, we re-sign Orsolini, and Pellegrini gets recalled.

I’d love to have Allegri back, but it would make no sense to bring him in mid season.

Im willing to give Sarri the season and hope he can come away with a CL final.

I don’t care too much about the league as I do for the CL.

So far this team has done fine in the CL all season.

Sarri needs to figure things out, but players are to be blamed too.

Pjanic is no longer the star we brought him to be.
He is going to be turning 30, and he is already declined, we need someone better, someone solid.

I say dump most of the guys for Pogba, we know ManU wants to get rid of him for the right price to rebuild, and we need to win now while Ronaldo can still play at a high level.

Pay ManU whatever they want and with Pogba the midfield is 75% better. Paul can play box to box and we can finally have a midfielder where the offense can finally go through.

With Pogba then Dybala won’t have to drop as much and keep using his skills next to Ronaldo.

You add Costa on the side and this team is deadly!

There are strong rumors that Rakitic is available, that be sweet to have him here.

Problem even with Allegri we gave away our big star Pogba and we haven’t been able to bring in anyone on this squad that could ever replace Pogba.

Oh God please no Allegri. He was done after Cardiff

I wouldnt blame sarri, its more on management. They have built a shit squad. Our fullbacks wouldn't even be bench in top 10 teams

I'm not saying 11 Italians, because let's be real, there aren't 11 Italians worthy of playing for Juve right now. I'm saying for a midfield, realistically.

Tonali is a good one, and one that Juve should be pursuing and if you believe the reports is a main target for Juve. Verratti would cost Juve an arm and a leg, and is he worth it at this point?

What would Sensi bring to the team that we don't already have? As for Barella, we already have players to play in that position, one of them being a highly touted Italian (that's failed to live up to his reputation at Juve so far).

So the solution is to sign a number of mediocre Italian players? We've been through this before. Italy just now are starting to produce real quality players again. The guys that could play for this side are few and far between and are going to be really hard to sign. You're not getting Verratti unless you pay a gold mine. They had their chance at guys like Barella and Sensi, but they opted on Rabiot and Ramsey on a free. Chiesa, who has promise, would sit on this team. What other Italian comes to this side and becomes a key member of this team?

Tonali is the only real option out there and by all accounts Juve are pursuing him.

If this team had better management and Paratici did a better job building a midfield, we wouldn't be discussing this right now.

I think we have to be realistic and admit this side has very little chance of winning the CL. We have to hope Sarri can help us retain the scudetto and evaluate what other options there are to manage this side come the summertime.
