Dimitri Payet is enjoying something of a renaissance this season. He has gone a long way to recapturing the form he had two years ago before a cruelly unfortunate injury in the Europa League Final deprived him of a place in Deschamps' ultimately triumphant World Cup squad. It's no surprise then that Marseille have vastly improved from last season, and currently occupy second place in the league table albeit twelve points behind Les Parisiens. With his experience, eye for the killer pass, and ability from set pieces, he wouldn't be out of place at Euro 2020, even though he is two years older. I feel like the team can use his creativity in the final third.
