Falcao has always been a good pk taker. I remember Jackson missing 80-90% of penalties at Porto. He can't handle the pressure. Great player nevertheless.
Tough look for my guy. Portuguese friend told me all the talk in their media is he got paid for that miss. I can't see it. He missed tons for Porto once upon a time from the spot.
At 34 years of age, Jackson Martínez is making a living as a Christian rapper in Colombia. What a story. pic.twitter.com/EJMh058xLV— Zach Lowy (@ZachLowy) October 19, 2020
haha can’t wait for the Maluma + Jackson + Quintero song dude this guy was on top of the world at Porto. Got injured and never the same. Can’t believe is is 34 already. Retired? junior should have gotten him. Maybe next season 3 up top bacca——Jackson——-Teo
Queiroz does not agree with the Cordoba take this past FIFA Date. Cucho is a different type of player. More of a winger role. At least he is consistently getting playing time in Spain.
Sad ending...simeone killed him Jackson Martínez decidió retirarse del fútbol profesional. Hizo parte de la destacada Selección Colombia en Brasil 2014, además se hizo ídolo en Medellín y Porto.— Diego Rueda (@diegonoticia) December 6, 2020
I remember how well his confidence for the National team came when he scored a double against Japan in the 2014 world cup...it was a sign that he could both perform on the national and club stage...it's a shame what happened to a very talented guy.
he's a guy who had those famous colombian mentality issues. He was literally one of the world's best 9's at Porto, he went to Atletico, didn't let him play and had an injury. This guy sent him to China after 6 months and only let him play like 3 games or something ridiculous. Once he got there he got a ton of serious injuries and it seemed like he just had no interest in football after a while.
