Bloomberg is not a Republican. There is no room for him in today's GOP. He is either 3rd party or a Democrat, but not a Republican.
Bernie's VP would probably be Nina Turner, Warren, or Tulsi. He's said time and time again he's probably gonna pick a woman.
Agree A critical demo of the 2018 wave was suburban women. My worry about Sanders is that he going to be smeared as a communist, and that means he won't turn out enough of those middle of the road voters in the burbs
You are missing the point that Bernards campaign has done huge damage inside the big tent, and Team Bernard continues to attack centrist dems and call the party corrupt How does he hope to win in November by attacking parts of the big tent coalition?
The Bro pejorative should not be blanket applied to Bernard fans. Hell I loved Bernard at first in 2018 and still admire his ability to build a true experiential, populist campaign. He's the old man version of Jacinda Amongst those I follow, the Bro term is reserved for the toxic dog pile gang who tend to troll swarm women (e.g warren/clinton supporters) with nasty crap. Now the question I was discussing ( I think with @Yoshou or @ElJefe ) the other day is why the candidate himself fosters such a toxic following and campaigns in that way. You can be dismissive, but I don't think it is a non-issue that many female influencers I follow think Team Bernard is a toxic trash pile. This is where I worry that he won't turn out the key female suburban demo with the energy we saw in 2018.
Bernie and the DNC/Hillary have certainly exchanged blows, but nothing that can't be overcome after the convention. Overall, make no mistake about it, Bernie is aiming to take the party to the left, which does mean establishing a critique of forces within the party that keep it anchored to the center.
He didn't boo her, and he probably asked her to apologize, which she did the next day. That said, to take a page from Trump, Hillary started it..
Again that was the exact issue that was discussed Sanders is ultimately responsible the actions of his campaign surrogates. It was dumb politics and he needs to get a grip. If he doesn't then we are entitled to ask whether this is actually what he wants. My suspicion is they can't help take their premature victory lap because they are small time lefties who are not ready for power. God knows I saw this stuff dozens of times since the 80s
Overall it'll be interesting to monitor the Sanders camp and their focus in the coming days. The knives are going to come out for him.
You don't need to go far....Just listen to Nina Turner, Brie-Brie or David Sirota or Michael Moore. Those are at the top of Bernie's campaign and you will notice how toxic they are. They are the ones giving the tone.Folks may not have any idea figures like Moore or Shaun King are toxic for the electorate at large. In all fairness, Bernard has been very conciliatory publicly and has been pushing a message of unity. However, his inability or unwillingness to rein in his team is telling.
The dude bragging about his 6 figure salary and driving a 2020 Benz? . No mate, that is typical of the dude/ tech/ Bernie bros supporting Bernie because "revolution". I know them too well.
It has already started and anyone not walking in steps is a neo liberal shill, a corporate democrat or voting against their interest (that is mostly for black people, talk about being patronizing). These people are living in an alternate reality. I mean, lately the Bros have been pushing for Nina Turner, Talib or AOC for VP. We saw this nonsense being posted here lately as well. How divorced from reality one can be?
Wrong again. Not tech. Tell me more about me? And it was t bragging. I was debunking your assumptions about who you say I am. [emoji2369] Anywho. You have nothing positive to add. Good day. *blocked*
