I’d look to move on from Kluivert or loan him out this summer. He’s a special talent, but meh he doesn’t look like he gets it and I’m tired of waiting.
Right if we want to challenge for top 4 we need productive wingers, not ones where we give them benefit of the doubt because they’re young.
I have been harsh on him for similar reasons but before he got injured he was starting to get it. Its not uncommon for even the most experienced players to take a number of games to get up to speed. I dont see your argument here. I wont be surprised to see Perotti start again though now hes back.
I think he will start to get it by season's end. He said he wants Barcelona, but right now I don't think anyone in the top four of Spain would be remotely interested in him. His career probably has not gone to plan through his eyes, I hope he uses the frustration in a positive manner.
No issue with showing ambition. His dad played there so its not unreasonable that would be a lifelong goal for him to write. At 20 he has 5-6 years to focus on improving and then potentially be ready for such a move. I think you're looking a bit too much into this given his age.
I think it's a fine goal to have. If a player comes here, gives 110% through the course of a four year contract, I am more than satisfied.
