You think its 50/50? I'd bet a lot at 50/50 odds he doesn't get called up.

 

I say 50/50 in my eyes only because there's not too many right wing options, he looked good against the Euro champions, he plays on the same team as the starting RB, and he is at about the same level of a guy who was called up a few months ago I never thought would be called up.

 

Berrio was called up when we were giving everyone a chance, we're now about to enter World Cup qualifying. I'd be really surprised to see Dorlan, especially considering Quintero, James, Cuadrado all can play there plus the obvious guys of Muriel, Villa, Sinisterra, Muriel, Roger, Diaz who all can play there as well. If Dorlan didn't get his chance then unless we get 5 injuries I'd be super surprised.

 

Considering JuanFer and James are never healthy or in form for long stretches and Cuadrado has been relegated to #8 I think there is still a chance.
The other guys also seem to be inconsistent on the right or not getting quality club minutes other than Muriel and maybe Diaz.

I was encouraged to see Diaz play on the right in a friendly though and hope to see Sinisterra there soon too.

 

I agree with Cobi Jones, that touch to bring it down was solid and the goal was good too.

 

Medina played a great game besides that miss. Roger was good, too, as was Benedetti. Dorlan had an assist but was pretty poor.

You have to love Medina. We all shit on him for one reason or another but he finds a way to win championships. Glad for him. Pabon was captain so he lifted the trophy.

Medina has actually won a lot with Mexican teams.

So he missed the penalty, its a team game, hahaha!!!

 

I am one of the few who never says a bad thing about Medina.

 

I never thought I would say this but Leon may have a weird say on what our Seleccion is going to look like come qualifiers and Copa.

What I mean by that is that two players that Queiroz has been calling up consistently in the last few FIFA friendlies windows are playing out of position.
Tesillo has strictly been a CB and Yairo has been the LB.

I wonder if this is one of the reasons Queiroz went in person to see Mojica in Spain.

As for Yairo, I have been kind of underwhelmed with him at midfield. I have not seen much of him at LB to give an opinion but I imagine he is better at attacking than Tesillo.

It is going to be interesting to see how this plays out next month. And it all may not even matter what happens at Leon if Queiroz still feels Tesillo is still his best option at LB and Moreno is a good option next to Barrios.

 

We need to try Medina or Arias at LB and see if it would work. Hopefully Fabra can re-emerge soon too.

 

didnt watch the Boca match but according to Ole both he and Campuzano were substituted due to injury

 

Not ideal, we really need Fabra.

Yairo with MOTM tonight

 

Watched some of Cardona's game yesterday and he wasn't great. The team sucks but he hasn't even been starting, I can see why he's not getting called up for the national team. Such a waste of talent with that guy, has so much ability but just doesn't put it together consistently enough and gets in his own way too often.
