GO TIME❗️Averaging 23 years, 216 days, today’s Starting XI vs. 🇨🇷 is the youngest lineup the #USMNT has fielded for a #JanuaryCamp match. #USAvCRC | #StakeYourClaim— U.S. Soccer Men's National Team (@USMNT) February 1, 2020
These are the kind of long shots I like to see Berhalter take. This is very experimental but it’s filled with talented players, giving them a chance to stake their claim.
Bah, Yueil's very gritty and tough in the middle, Lletget is pretty two-way, and Arriola's basically a hustling defender, not a winger. We'll be fine against the likes of this current Costa Rica. If this were Mexico, or the current Jamaica, then I'd be worried.
Nice to see a bunch of newcomers. Don't expect a super high quality game but a good test for some players I want to see and glad Berhalter didn't rely on too much same ol' same ol'.
So look who I bumped into at Aspire Park here in Qatar today.... must be a good omen we are going to win then....
I can't imagine who is actually buying a "Battle for 2020" Chess set. ESPNNews commercials are amazing. Excited to see Uly, Aaronson and Ferreira.
It's a shame that Arriola is such a shitty finisher. He finds himself in the right places so often, and so rarely finishes the move off.
