I knew Flamengo would be very tough. They have looked dominant in the Brazilian league and for most of the Libertadores. They are valid champions.

Glad Santos Borre scored a big goal though. Too bad his team could not hold on for just a little bit longer.

Ombe. Si se va para allá en 6 meses, máximo un año, está jugando en China o la MLS.

Supposedly Red Bull Salzburg are enquiring about him, but River won’t let him go during this transfer window for anything less than his release clause (€30m), so it’s almost a guarantee he isn’t going anywhere for now

no way you guys get that much when that Haalan kid who is 19 went for 20 million

not Eu and not Argentine..... so your club needs to be way more realistic on what you will get

I don’t think you get the point. The idea of requesting the release clause is pretty much saying he is not for sale. Maybe in the future they’ll negotiate him for less, but for now the club does not have the intention of letting him go unless they’re contractually obligated to.

Santos Borre on his intent to continue at River, despite interest from various European clubs in him---showing loyalty, respect, and commitment:

Why would it be a bad move? Celta not good enough for Borre or Borre not good enough for Celta?

I wouldnt mind the trade during summer but this team is currently in relegation zone past mid season and that would worry me. It's a fool's errand to try to change the path of a team with only 3 wins all season. Very few moves can change that path.

I think his agent just needs to sit on any offer until summer comes and let Borre do the rest.

Yea but in the summer they can be like Well we don’t want to lose him for Copa lib. Tho if he makes the Copa America team his value can go up

I don’t like guys leaving in the winter as it takes time to adjust and that can hurt the NT the only team that matters

The strikers spots for Copa America are pretty wide open. Right now as no one is clear starter or killing it for their clubs. One would assume Falcao, Muriel, Duvan + one of Roger(doesn’t play), Borre or Morelos. Shock can be Teo or Borja with Junior fans screaming for them during qualifiers and stealing a spot.

tho baring a injury before the cup I can’t see Duvan, Falcao or Muriel not making it.

Borre at the moment is at a much higher level than Roger. CQ has to see that. Borre in that line of 3 up front : Diaz - Duvan - Borre would be damn amazing. With Borre's and Diaz workrate I think it would fulfill CQ needs on both sides of the ball.

    Diaz ---Duvan ---- Borre

    ---Mattheus --Cuadrado

    ------------Barrios

Mojica -- Sanchez --Mina -- Medina

Subs: GK: ? DEF: Borja, Tesillo, Alcazete (been playing def mostly for Brighton), DFM: Lerma, Yairo Moreno, AMF: James/JFQ (if ready), Muriel, Morelos

Carrascal would be a maybe....if he gets the nod from Gallardo and continues to impress I don't see how he shouldnt have a chance.
