    That's a very fair summation.

Just needs to be calmer with finishing and final ball.

I'm not referring to Nigeria. Just think he looks the best bet as backup right now

Fair enough. I expect Southgate will monitor Saka, Williams and Sessegnon closely over the next few weeks.

I'm definitely leaning towards Saka too though. He just seems to have a bit more variety to his game.

I thought he was a left sided forward and only filling in at LB ?

Grealish has been immaculate this half. Hasn't given the ball away. Hes so clever in possession.

Matt targett is a left back. Done ok. Maybe someone for the future?

I think it's safe to assume Grealish will get called up. I trust Southgate enough.

Grealish is definitely ahead of maddison right now. No doubt. Hes on a different level

It’s nice that they’re great mates off the field as well

They're the perfect combo. Grealish wins the free kicks. Maddison scores them

I can’t see how Southgate can justifiably leave him out on this form. I mean who can Southgate say is playing better in his position without keeping a straight face, it’s impossible for him to leave him out imo.

Watch this space ... fully expecting him to select Linguard , Barkley and Dier maybe even Ox and his injuries

Dont be daft. Lingard, dier are well out of contention. I would take maddison, grealish, cho, sancho sterling and rashford as my attacking players with kane and abraham as the front two. That's a pretty frightening attacking group. Provided kane and rashford are fit. Hopefully cheek will be back in contention by then. Our defence is shit so we may as well outscore our opponents

Delph was only capped twice in 2019 during the Nations League finals in June.

A few days ago you were pretending you'd never heard of Delph or Dean Henderson.

I wasn’t at all . I explained about the Henderson thing confusion atvyhe time and as regards Delph I just have a terrible memory - especially for names - can’t help that .

Your comprehension needs some work .. As regards Delph - I even described what type of player and who he played for - just his name escaped me at the time .

What is actually wrong with using Delph? Experience isn't worthless. City certainly looked a better side with him in their squad.
