I wonder if the deep state is behind Auria placing Van Halen in the hair band category with Poison

Poison was really The Runaways post gender reassignment and plastic surgery which was influenced by listening to Adam Schiffs Kraftwerk cover band...backwards.

Yes, your feckless missile strike was a big blow to the Great Satan... but what we really want to know is which 80's big hair band had the greatest impression on the mullahs? The Ayatollah seems like a Bon Jovi fan.

Please. Van Halen was absolutely a hair band.
They were a party band, hair band, glam band. Just like GnR, Cinderella, Def Leppard, etc. Ed made a bigger name for himself than did Slash or C.C. DeVille, sure, but what they played was glam hair party rock. DLR made it glam with his preening and posing.

There is actually a famous singer in Iran named Reza Sadeghi who is disabled from waist down. At some point, he was actually a theology student and technically a Mullah, before he decided to leave his clerical robe behind and pursue a career in jazz and soft rock. :D

That is just....an incredibly unattractive group of men. Like, ignore the silly 80s hair and just...their faces. Good lord.

I could do a very deep post but I am tired :p

The big difference is that Van Halen were a real stadium band from the pre-MTV era

The bands like Poison etc were manufactured MTV era bands

So while the time frame overlaps - they are really from completely different eras

Especially GnR - they were manufactured via MTV during the pussy metal wave

That you group them together is just wrong

Very interesting development uncovered by CNN. Apparently, a shady Ukranian “businesswoman”, was among the victims of the crash last week.

So you're giving MTV credit for every band that happened to be formed after they hit the air, and calling them manufactured??? Post-video bands worked and slaved and toured and recorded the same damn way the pre-video bands did. Stop paying attention to the Buggles- video didn't kill anything.

It's not just the timeframe that overlaps- it's the music, and the look, and the stupid shit on stage from the frontman/prop. I'll give DLR props for his singing, but he hammed it up way too much. Typical party band frontman. He could have been Bono or Sting or Bowie or Peter Gabriel, but the music was not topically serious enough for him to do that. They are a hair band.

I really didn’t come to this thread to see the Buggles name dropped. Since we no longer have the option, consider this post a very negative rep for sticking that ********inG sing in my head for the next hour.

No, I’m not “insinuating” anything by posting a CNN developing story. I’m not a conspiracy theorist, I look at the facts. Most likely just another coincidence, but a notable development nonetheless.
