Partizan is going to face Yeni Malatyaspor from Turkey in Europa League third qualifying round. The first leg will be played next week and the second one week later. I wonder if Asano will be ready to play in one or both of the matches.
He's still young and has time to be successful. He's chosen a tough environment though, if he cannot play well in Serbia then there's no way he can cut it in a better European league.
"Welcome Takuma Asano! The 24-year-old Japan international forward " Nice one recognizing him as a forward, Partizan Belgrade. Please don't use him as a makeshift winger just because his speed is better than average

He had a good game last week against AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League, and he was the direct cause of the AZ right-back getting a red-card. Sugawara then came in as substitute for AZ to fill the void in the right-back position. This week, he was instrumental in Partizan Belgrade win against Serbian league champions Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade), in which Partizan won 2-0 and Asano assisted the first goal. Strange one, but good that he's settling in Belgrade. I honestly think he should play in a higher-level league, but for now it's good he's gaining back some confidence.
There was some context for those failures, especially in Stuttgart, where he was fielded as a left midfielder.
Yeah. Still. Got plenty of chances in Hannover also. Was good i preseasons and even scored many goals. But failed as soon as it was regular games.
Played against Manchester United tonight. He was lively and causing many problems for Manchester United’s defence. He almost scored a goal in the 85th minute from a header, but it was saved by the goalkeeper. He is gradually returning to his form, however, he is playing as a second-striker and provider for the main striker (Umar Sadiq) at Partizan Belgrade, which limits his chances to score goals.

Scored in the league today, third consecutive goal in the last 3 matches for his club. Let’s hope he will recover his Pre-Europe form.
He scored today again in the league, in the last match before the winter break which will last for 2 months. Stats so far in this season: 14 league games 3 goals. 10 Europa League games 3 goals. Overall: 24 games 6 goals. Not bad, considering that he just started to score recently, and considering that he is not playing as the main striker. 3 goals in 5 games in December. 2 goals in 4 games in November. 5 goals in the last 7 games. Promising stats and indication that he is gradually regaining his scoring touch and developing chemistry with his teammates.
He was named in this week’s UEFA Europa League team of the week, as he scored a goal and provided an assist: 🔝 This week's top performers 😍 ⚽️ How many would make your group stage dream team? 🤔#UEL | @FedExEurope— UEFA Europa League (@EuropaLeague) December 13, 2019
Russian powerhouse Lokomotiv Moscow is interested in him but Partizan is unlikely to accept this offer. Anyways, glad to see he is rebuilding his career. https://web.gekisaka.jp/news/detail/?295839-295839-fl
