At the beginning of the conflict the Nobel peace prize winning Obama and his Democratic party backed ISIS moonlighting as Syrian rebels. So did Israel and the Saudi's. They wanted Bashar al-Assad and his Iranian backers eliminated. This proved to be a losing battle so they (american, Saudi, Jewish) decided to back the Hezbollah and Shia Muslims knowing their insurgents couldn't win. Hezbollah also fooled the Jews into backing off early into the conflict to be able to concentrate on their Sunni enemies. Obama administration (Clinton's) made a huge mistake thinking that they could switch sides like vermin to gain short term political support. They killed millions during their support of the Arab Spring.

Trump says he isn’t pulling out of Iraq unless or until they pay the USA for their bases and I believe for liberating their country. He says he inherited this mess and he wasn’t the one who invaded nor would he ever have wanted to. He is basically saying ‘now that we are there , they owe us’! I can’t blame him for that. Maybe people don’t like his tweets , the fact that he isn’t a politician , a member of the elite , the way he calls them all out and fights back or whatever they believe, he is 100% right on this issue. The USA stayed in Italy , Germany , Japan and Korea and never left. I can just imagine what will have become of Italy had the US pulled out completely in 1945. From what my relatives tell me, the fascists who remained loyal to Mussolini will not have gone away. Many actually became Christian -Democrat’s. The same with the Nazis in Germany. There were many articles written around 1946 saying how things were so much better before the war. Italians to this day still praise the things Il Duce did...
