He's a 60-70 minute player by Zidane's instructions. He's instructed to leave his heart and body on the field with constant pressing and running.

Is that so hard to understand?

I’ve been a Fede fan for awhile, however this is an exaggeration, there’s a reason we “notice” that he’s tired, he’s doing extremely well, but no, not the Toni of this season

It didn't help that we got more thsn a day less of rest and recovery.

It's these small differences that they know make a match. That fatigue can end up in a moment of lost concentration and they score.

Which is why it is so criminal we are always on the short end and barca never are. Yet we say nothing.

At least the club complained about the officiating, that’s a step in the right direction, hope to see more of that in the future, it’ll put the spotlight on those refs and force them to do the right thing.

What a rip off Frenkie De Jong is compared to Valverde

Both of those Ajax boys are rip offs.
We got Varane for 10m what a bargain.

Some of our investments payback, others dont. I remember singing Lucas Silva who didn't impress in the same timeframe as Casemiro.

With Fede, we had a lot of CM to understudy Modric including Kovacic who was impatient, Ceballos who was erratic on the field and even Llorente tried but was limited in that position. I personally didn't see Fede making that position his and anticipated the signing of another midfielder like Donny VDB, Eriksen or Pogba.

On the another note Uruguay has a good crop of midfielders incoming with Fede, Lucas Toreira, Vecino (28 years old tho) and even Betancur who some rate highly. In the past they had such luck with their fowards (Forlan, Cavani, Suarez). Now its their midfield golden generation. In defense Gimenez will be taking the reigns from Godin. Interesting crop of players from a population of 4 million.

Fede is a great player, but at 0-0 and looking for a win, Zidane made the right decision and it almost paid of immediately. Modric had a wonderful pass.

We have a legend on our bench. It's a luxury that we should utilize.

Who would have thought he would start all our crucial games so far this season?!!!
I love how things are going so far, and even though he still has room for improvement, I would be ok with him keeping this same level of performance (maybe with a bit more stamina).

This may be too hard for the dutch and liverpool fans to understand as its in Spanish and also they probably never heard of Penarol, but its a clip of Valverde when he was young.

Last January, we were talking about Llorente at the World Club Cup. I know I was one of the fans who criticised the decision to sell him. Now, no one even talks about llorente because of Fede.

I don't think but he is, however Llorente would have made a great bench player to have!

Lol Frenkie and De Ligt are worldclass players, Frenkie will go for the B'allon one day and I would love to have De Ligt at us, so he can replace Ramos. Your hate towards other clubs is so big, you dont even see the beauty in football anymore. Sad stuff.

Frenkie will never go near the Ballon d'Or, completely overrated. Both Fede and Odegaard are and will be better. De Ligt is so slow and injury prone, we have Varane and Militao.

Valverde has completely shocked me this season. Probably even bigger success story than Casemiro.
