Maradona endured pressure? Ahaa You mean back then without social media, heavy media scrutiny and with everyone enabling all his horrible vices from drug abuse to performance enchantment? Ahaha
He invited journalists to his house overnight to prove that he's not doing drugs, he's working out, years later he admitted he was high out of his mind that night in front of everybody. The amazing thing with Maradona is that the excess captured on film is absurd, so you can only imagine how ridiculous things were in private.
AHAHA Maradona is a bum - AHAHAA. You guys sound like gossip queens. We all know he was imperfect that was part of the charm. People like enigmas. The only difference is this enigma actually fulfilled his potential. I guess that's why you hate him.
Serie A at that time was the strongest league in the world, they would break your legs and less protection from refs therefore less cards. It was a far more competitive league and not a two horse race. Lets see what Ronaldo and Messi would do!
You gotta ignore the fan boys from the USA here, they have no idea about how strong Serie A of italia was back then
Who said he was a bum? Who said anything about hate? Stop being a bitch just because we pointed out facts.
Imagine being on a US based forum saying stupid shit like this. Stop posting forever if this is limit of your intelligence or wit. Before you cry about my heavy handed response, note you guys were the ones who chose to insult first.
He was a drug addict and a borderline criminal at times. If that would be your relative you'd most likely have cut him out of your life and figured he's toxic, but since he can kick a football around very well it's part of his charm. It was also widely known that everybody was slamming the steroids down like they were going out of fashion.
Maradona is one of the greatest to play the sport, but he plays with today's rules, schedule and physical demands and he doesn't last 3 seasons. That's absolutely safe to say. I respect the former generations of players and coaches for laying the foundation for what we see today. But the sport has improved and grown by leaps and bounds.

Guardian have lost a lot of footballing credibility (they employ some decent spots journalists) with this list.
Fck PES and fck China. Props to oezil for speaking out against them. Muslims are held in concentration camps, but China is mad at oezil, the world we living in lol.

He doesn't last 3 seasons ? Are you kidding me? He had people butchering him EVERY SINGLE game. Ridiculous. Maradona in his prime is just as effective as Messi today. The only difference is defense was played under different rules. It's similar to Basketball in the 80's - if that's your sport
