Was at the Al Hilal vs Esperance quarterfinal the other day and honestly I'm not surprised by this. Al-Hilal played very well in that match, and there's quality there on that team.
Jadon Sancho and Timo Werner on fire lately. Goal and assist for Jadon, two goals for Timo in a 3-3 draw between Leipzig and Dortmund today
Aston Villa 5-0 Liverpool in League Cup. Media talking about competition authorities embarrassed because Liverpool fielded a C team.
Harvey Elliott 16 years old what a player, played as if he was in his mid 20s the way they played tonight the 5-0 was harsh
So EFL had this fixture even though Klopp and senior squad are in Doha for CWC. Authorities themselves treating it as Mickey Mouse competition. What's the need for 2 domestic cups anyways and this is the least valued.

1. The scientific consensus doesn’t say humans evolved from apes. They say humans and apes evolved from a common ancestor which is thus far unknown. 2. The ad creator says the ad was supposed to be about three apes, one from Europe, one from Africa and one from Asia. It was supposed to show that all people are related. Very silly ad idea because the message is going to be lost on the people it is intending to target, but the ad campaign was not intentionally malicious. I agree with you that this one has to be chalked down to sheer stupidity (rather than racism).
Maradona: "Di Stefano was superior to everyone, even me" The best in history "I think the best was Di Stefano, he was superior to everyone, including me. Pele did not want to recognize Di Stefano. Pelé's friends invented a trophy for him as the living legend of football. I beat Pele even in Rio for being The best in history". https://argentina.as.com/argentina/...=QUNUVUFMSURBRA==&m3=MTA=&m4=bm9ybWFs&m5=MTg=

I read today that we're not interested due to his wage demands, he apparently has offers on 8 mil. Net wages that he expects us to match.
Thanks for explaining, but man you got to be pretty dense to use monkey/apes in an anti racist ad campaign. It's really hard to play dumb and pretend this wasn't done intentionally to inspire more racism. They should have used an albino monkey to best make the point, but I'm fairly certain it's at that point that people would have taken to the streets and showed up at stadiums tiki torches in tow.
For me there isn't a singular king of the game, mostly because the demands have been constantly changing with time on every level. Tactical, physical, mental, technical.
I completely agree with what you're saying, but as a persona dude is nr. 1 for me. A magician and a lunatic.
Plus Maradona played in an era before there rules to protect the players and there was no diving, so defenders were gun holders and free to have at it. Then throw in the use of steroids and his ability to dominate teams was extraordinary, dude had his leg broken and still came back to the top.
Was going to refer to the era he played in and the level of brutality he had to cope with, but at the end of the day it doesn't mater. There's no right or wrong here, these views are subjective for all of us.
People just don't know what it's like being Maradona. Cristiano and Messi have it easy compared to Maradona. Maradona carried cities on his back (culturally, politically, but more importantly with his football). People literally would pray to/for him in their homes. Men and women of all ages. When people talk about pressure they don't know what Maradona endured. It's a miracle that he's still alive with all the stress and physical anguish he's been through. The true #1 of football. He's the man that made me fall in love with football and will be remembered for generations to come. His feats with Napoli are incomparable to anything the football world has ever seen. Even when Leicester won the league a few years back - the teams on top were not at full strength. In the 80's Serie A was the red carpet of the football world. Teams that are some of the best teams of ALL time. Man... what a player. So damn magical.
Maradona was loaded with PEDs. On top of that drug and alcohol abuse. He's lucky to be alive, but not because of some athletic martyrdom, but because he treated himself like shit. He also willingly tried to drug players to cheat against them, basically laughing about them having seizures. Oh how easy do Messi and Ronaldo have it.
