The future looks bright for us if the current crop of youngsters keeps progressing the way they are. I am particularly eager, like many here have said, to see Odegaard and Valverde line up together. My only worry with the 2 of them is they both play on the same side of midfield. I don't know if either one of them has played or can play more on the left.

Sociedad did us a solid one today. They had chances to win this game but I am glad they still managed to get points off Barca. It really is up to us not to throw that away tomorrow. I would love to head into the Classico ahead of Barca on points.

 

I would consider 4-4-2 with Valverde playing LM and Odegaard RM.

 

There was a pass that Ødegaard made that was so clever that it fooled Willian José, would have been the 3rd goal for Sociedad.

Martin is a phenomenon, I’m glad the Sociedad coach realized where his true strength lies and played him as a midfielder all season instead of a winger.

 

That would be one way of playing them, however, if Valverde is comfortable playing as an LCM in a 4-4-2, possibly he could just move to Kroos' side while Odegaard takes the right.

I don`t see an issue with Valverde playing LM considering it does not deviate from what he is used to play.

Or another option is to play them both in 4-3-3 with Casemiro behind. But considering Kroos is just 29 and shinning lately, i don`t see that happening.
