If they did come to terms with a foreign TD this week as @TyrusRose has heard, they need to get him a visa before they can announce. If the process for hiring soccer executive is anything like it is for hiring hospital employees, the visa part can be kind of a pain in the ass. A formality, but a pain in the ass formality.
I get that patience to do the right thing makes sense...but sheesh I look across the MLS and I think...we are moving verrrrry slowly.
Some of the other internet rumor mongers have been saying the same. I like the hire assuming it doesn't fall apart.
I just hope we have TD and coaches in place before the draft/spring training so perhaps we can actually have players bought/signed by then so they can be ready for the full season for once instead of piecemeal through a season.
What, and have players spend a preseason getting to know each other and their tendencies under the tactical system of the new coach? What have I told you about huffing during the week?
And make a mini run before falling apart during the last few games of the season and missing the playoffs once again.
The usual Twitter listening posts are reporting Georg Hintz will be announced next week as the new TD.
