There’s no possible middle ground while Republicans stay in power. You either get center left Democrats or extreme right wing nutjobs who despise democracy. Easy choice.
no disagreeing but it’s the whole super Christian thing that makes me mad. Omg Clinton got a BJ and cheated on his wife. He must be impeached. The other guy is accused of 17 rapes and confirmed that he paid 2 porn stars off and said he liked popping in miss teen America’s dressing rooms when they were getting changed just to say hi. Not to mention he says how he totally would fk his daughter if they weren’t related........ you need to have the same standards if the person is on your team or not. Bill Maher has a great bit on what if Obama”.....” insert what trump did. I mean they wanted to impeach him for wearing a tan suit. One thing I do find annoying is how Democrat’s demonize people making over 100k. I mean I did it 3 years after college. Depending where you live it’s not a lot of money. In Boston my rent was $2,200 plus student loans. My brother in Brooklyn it’s $3,000. My interns are offered 50-65k to join a rotation program in my company. So two 22 year olds who got married potentially automatically get fkd over when they graduate because of a low limit in expensive areas? the idea of you going to college and having a high paying job, paying more in taxes but fk you everything people get for free is charged to you. my sister is a teacher and her husband is an accountant. They barely make over the “free lunch” minimum so every week each of her kids has to pay $50 for lunch when 80% of the school gets it for free. also just because I make over 100 doesn’t mean anything. My dad when he moved to the US worked as a janitor until he got reaccredited as an engineer and made 80k+ With overtime (something salaried people don’t.) by working half days on holidays and getting paid 3-4x for the day.
Republican policies: What we see is another red-blue divide. Compare population-weighted averages for states that supported Clinton and Trump in 2016, and you see very different trends 3/ pic.twitter.com/TDDKNnkGeS— Paul Krugman (@paulkrugman) November 30, 2019

That's nonsense. They got out 'populisted' by Trump in the last election so have taken a hard line on 'billionaires' paying more taxes not people making over $100k. (Note: there are actually a lot of billionaires that are all for that because, you know, they'd be paying taxes on par with what they did under Reagan...) Sounds like you are getting impacted by rhetoric from Gates and Bezos. I expect both will end up endorsing the eventual Dem candidate either way and are just trying to push within margins for a more centrist candidate to emerge from the Dem pack.
No Democrats and Republicans have this weird thing that if you make 30k you are middle class. 30k in nyc or Boston and you are homeless. tho Republicans sell the idea that we will all be millionaires which isn’t realistic. Democrats sell the safety net idea which is good in theory but people need to work. We need jobs that pay well and for companies to actually hire people. Too many do the soulless temp employees so they don’t have to pay benefits. So you work for some evil temp agencies that pay you 15-20 an hour but charge the company 40-50 to have you for a few weeks. And if you are really unlucky you are an employee at a company they pay you minimum wage but say you are an independent contractor so you pay your own taxes tho what they need to do is tax investment income as regular income and that the bs tax break of taking a loan on your stocks need to go away.
That is just rhetorical rubbish. Actually read their policy, watch debates, yikes. Hillary lost the rust belt because she didn't lie to them - she told them that we needed to bring different industry into those areas and drive education so those people could have jobs. That's not just about the safety net - it's about having a strategy for employment based on the capabilities needed for an economy to thrive. 45 lied to them about magically keeping factories set up to fail in our economy open... And then watched them close. And takes credit what seems likely every other month for new factories opening that either opened or were set for opening under Obama. (E.g, Apple factory two weeks ago)

Some are saying that Duncan Hunter, who will be pleading guilty to criminal charges tomorrow, was the first Congressman to endorse Trump. Not so. The first was Chris Collins, who pled guilty to his criminal charges two months ago. Hunter was second. https://t.co/iY9Q3843VZ— Orin Kerr (@OrinKerr) December 2, 2019
Amazing how the pResident and Third Wife that are preferred by Christians, omit Christ on Christmas...
