I get that he's only riding the bench but he deserves something more of a thread title.

The mods want to have the first and last name in the title so it’s easy to find by search.

(In your defense, no-one’s searching for this clown.)

At least he is trying to fulfill his dream in a difficult situation at a young age. Unlike some dudes who couldn't handle the pressure and went back home. CLOWN.

The guy's the no. 2 GK (not an outfield player) for a top-3 side in Swiss D1, and at the age of 22 at that.

Don't you think "clown" is a bit much?

    P.S.
I know he's Klinsmann's son and has to carry the baggage that comes with that, but let's evaluate him on his merits or the lack thereof.

OK - he also had some serious maturity issues when he was younger and really angered a lot of fans on his own merits, not on his father's. Hope he's growing out of that.

Well, stop the ********ing presses. A 16 year old had maturity issues!

Further validates the claims of nepotism that his father is so intertwined with the top brass of Hertha.

Which is why that needs to be the thread title.

why else do you think that Jonathan was at Berlin, it wasn't for his talent. And then St Gallen, their coach is the German Zeidler who knows his father too.....Although Jonathan moved there hoping to establish himself at #1 but failed.

at this point his best chance is for Stojanovic to leave in Summer. Although if he leaves they are likely to get another GK, since only 2 GKs will be left at the club and usually clubs go for min 3.

he's been at the club for 4 months, not 4 years. I know it's easy to hate on the guy but he remains an option for us (even if he's like 10th or so in order of precdedence).

I'm not hating on him, that's why he moved to Gallen to be #1 and he lost out to the competition. Also left Hertha because he wasn't better than the competition either.

and his best chance to become #1 is pretty much the other guy leaving bar injuries/constant blunders but as long as Stojanovic performs there is no reason for him to lose his spot this season.
