You can only make the formal switch once. He can't play for anyone but England.

The Irish can do one. Always trying to cherry pick our youngsters

It’s a weird situation for jack because at Villa he plays to the left of a 3 in a 4231 when I’ve seen him

but obviously in a free role

be interesting to see if he could step up as an 8

Sadly if he can’t get in the squad now then when Deli Alli , Linguard , Dier also looking to get into the bulging midfield I don’t see it happening

It’s taken Jose just 110 minutes to realise that Eric Dier is totally useless ..

He is. Will be interesting to see which club he plays for next season. I've got a feeling it will be not Brighton.

Apparently on TalkSPORT they were saying he can switch back so either we’re wrong here or TalkSPORT are ( wouldn’t be the first time they were wrong though ).

And why would he? Ireland are horse dung. Worst Ireland team in history. He's on the cusp of the England squad

Jenks is entirely right: unless the rules change, Grealish is tied to England. The FIFA statutes are pretty unambiguous about this.

That's the issue isn't it. How many top sides play with a player like Grealish these days? Among the praise from Carragher he also highlighted how different he is to the players that Liverpool have. These days team shape and efficiency take precedence. Squeeze space and attack quickly and with ruthlessness.

I don't think having a player who can create and keep the ball in midfield is a problem for England, it's the solution. We always come short for the same reason in tournaments, we can't keep the ball in the other team's half and always end up defending for 90 mn and hoping for a miraculous counter. Portugal twice, Argentina, Croatia, Brazil, Italy etc. Besides I don't Grealish works less than Barkley for instance, and he can play 10, 8, on the left.

The clincher for Grealish will be adding a few more goals and assists to his game. He gets in some great positions but usually looks for the overlapping runner.

His shooting is inadequate too. He still needs to improve his end product to be a top player.

Sure he can improve but the english players he's competing with are far from perfect.

Know he's not been perfect recently but shame to see Felix undeservedly win the Golden Boy over Sancho. Just infuriating that individual awards continue to reward hype and marketing rather than performances on the pitch.

Just another thing, regarding Alli, are those comments about him being unable to handle a workload and physically intensive types of activity as he gets older true? Seems like a very strange thing for somebody only 23 to say. Even if they weren't his exact words, they were along the lines of them. I have only seen this on Twitter so I'm reserving judgement for now.
